Goku VS An angsty version of Superboy

Well. Goku has the Ap Advantage, being superior to superior to superior, etc etc. against Superboy's comparable to Superman Pre-Crisis who is only baseline Low 2-C due to becoming one with the Universe like Infinite Zamasu.

Although doesn't Superboy prime just Retcon punch? If not then Superboy Prime is going to lose. He's too psychotic and insane to really formultate any strategy to bypass Goku's Ultra Instinct, which would allow him to dodge pretty much anything.

This doesn't help that Superboy is too childish and "Fairly competent in CQC" isn't going to help against Goku who has instinctual Mastery. Plus, his usual strategy of just brute forcing his way through things with his abilities is going to fail him terribly due to completely failing against Goku's Ultra Instinct.

The normal strategy to beat any UI Goku is to outlast, but sadly he's too psychotic and insane to attempt that. He'd just go and try to completely bullrush Goku to which he'd get absolutely wrecked. He's too impatient and childish to play the waiting game required to beat Goku.
 
Superboy's low 2-C does not come from being comparable to Pre-Crisis Supes with the sword. He's low 2-C because he's comparable to Monarch
 
So, still sounds Baseline. At best, a few times superior and still nowhere near strong enough to physically contend with Goku who stomps people who stomps their old selves who is superior to several people who is superior to Baseline Low 2-C.

IIRC, Prime only punched that glass thing that was connected to reality. Which means that anyone who has the power to break it could also retcon punch. Heck, Earth-2 Superman could've probably even done it.
 
The Retcon Punch seems to happen when SBP punches dimensional barriers. He never used it in combat (would have been useful against Monarch)

Also, add SBP's lack of fighting skills, he will just complain he can't land a blow on Goku while getting slowly chipped away of his energy

So SBP doesn't use RP in battle. I remember Goku Black vs SBP which ended inconclusive due to the RP stuff. Black almost won that one before.

Anyway Goku FRA.
