OP Earth Size

Well a few of the current calcs would upgrade Doffy to 6-B and to Sub Relativistic

And that's just one example

Yeah, The Earth being this huge should yield some pretty solid upgrades. The question is does it still have the same average density of Earth; if it does, that's 125.209917827 G's right there. And would basically increase all lifting strength and speed feats by that number. Attack Potency and Durability feats would be multiplied by around 125^2 most likely.

Remind me again why being massively bigger than the Sun grants the meteorite roughly 1 teraton, yet slightly bigger bumps it x10?

@Js250476

You could message some of the calc members to come and take a look at this when they have the time.

Okay I messaged 3 calc group members of this thread so hopefully more input will follow suit

The perspective in this shot seems to be exaggerating the size a bit. Maybe compare a square on the same plane as the red line with another square on the scaled locations plane? That might give a more accurate result.

I personally respected cins calculations and saw no flaws but whether or not it was excepted was news to me as I believe cin is gone some say for good Imma miss him if he never comes back he was one of the few people that made me feel welcome here ALRF was another now that he is gone there are a few others who I can say that were here to make me wanna stick around. personally I feel that Cins calcs are probably the most accurate and the meteor feat needs adjusting as well as doffys speed and birdcage as stated in his blogpost.

Yeah, I'm not sure about revising every calc, but for sure plenty of calcs may get effected in some way. But if that's the case, we do them step by step and very slowly. Though, I want to here opinions. If the Planet in One Piece really is that big, should we still assume it's one G with shallow density, or normal density, which would yield the 125 G's. I think the latter does make more sense though.

Unless their boats can move at hypersonic speeds, the OP planet being this big doesn't make any sense.

Tbh hypersonic boats is far from the most ridiculous things in One Piece

Yeah it's dumb but fiction gonna fiction if we can reasonably prove a planet is this big with math and in universe statements I don't think we should discard it because it sounds silly

Fire Emblem has Massively Hypersonic reaction speed horses with Town level durability, so it's not That ridiculous. And yeah, fiction is still fiction.

Yes but the OP world being vast and massive is also an important aspect of it

Hell The Thousand Sunny for example can tank canon fire has lasers in the front and can fly for a full kilometer is it really that far fetched to say there ships can be far faster the real life ships?

I feel I may make a blog post drawing attention to differences between reaction speed and action speed since it comes up often enough in threads I follow, Reaction speed is often always much faster that action speed, especially when lightning dodging or light dodgeing get mentioned. Reaction speed is purely perception followed by action ie I can see a bullet flying at me and attempt to move out of its path. im not faster than a bullet but I can react to it none the less and even dodge it. Action speed is the speed of how fast I act as in my speed, Now if you include aim dodging everyone would be ftl+ since using the previous bullet analogy you can perceive where the shot will be before fired (perception is part of reaction) and not be in the path earlier.

I do think this calc greatly inflates the size of the planet. I can accept the One Piece world being bigger than our Earth. I think it's ridiculous to assume that it's many times the size of Jupiter just because a calc says it could be based on multiple perspective shots that may not be scale and isn't backed up by anything official in the series.

EDIT: And if people are going to make a claim like every ship in One Piece always moves at hypersonic speeds then I'd like to see some evidence for that too rather than just excusing it as fiction.
