SPOILERS

As he defeated Toppo in 126, Vegeta should have a further elaboration in his Low 2-C key. Also, we should decide if Vegeta's negation of the Hakai is Power Nullification, Existence Erasure resistance, or both. I think it's both, but we should get some other opinions in here. I'd be happy to apply the new reasonings if allowed.

so my theory was correct slightly about hakai... stronger power can counter it but that has only been proved on the weaker variation from a god in training so it isnt much.. but its something. its not 100% yet tho.. its still the weaker variation aka hakai ball and not this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxSrSK2ioQw i wish they would give us more info on HAKAI

Vegeta has surpassed the GoD threshold; that's all there is to it. That's why I thought a specialized Power Null vs Hakai might be apropos.

Power null litterally only comes from overpowering.

Would early dbz Kamehameha power null via beating galick gun? The point was made, the attack exceeded the power of toppo and his hakai.

Vegeta has to at least be on par with Beerus at this point. Probably not stronger(Toppo, while having the power of a GoD, was still a candidate) but definitely on that level (Toppo got destroyed)

Power null to Toppo's hax, not to the energy itself. Not to mention Toppo's aura is consider Void Manip and Vegeta also was unaffected by that, so...

Some VERY WEAK resistance to existence erasure. If energy blast can push back or hold off Toppo's EOD then it's not true existence erasure. Existence erasure is erasing the object instantly no matter what, like what Zeno does.

Frankly all of the "hax" Dragon Ball has displayed is weaksauce

Since Toppo stated he could erase Freeza easily if not for the tournament rules, I don't think it's that weak.

Also, this isn't about the semantics of DB's hax.

Yeah. He was most likely talking about the technique Beerus used on Zamasu. Energy of Destruction is a different and weaker version of the real deal that can be resisted by beings of comparable power.

Vegeta is not resisting real existance erasure, but you can add it. Just specify the type

It wasn't just the EE he was resisting though (which by the way is actually more powerful than Freeza's resistance of it, by far). It was also the Void properties of Toppo's aura, which DID work like the "Hakai," move that we've seen Beerus use. It is EE resistance and VM null.

You completely neglected about half of what I said.

And Beerus and the rest don't seem to think so.

In fact, you could go as far as to say Beerus' version is microscopic. If the show doesn't treat it as a difference, then it's not a difference. Not to mention Toppo could have done the same to them were it not against the rules; Belmod FURTHER corroborates this point.

No, I'm saying that there's no evidence in the show to suggest that the abilities are different in any way when they have the same effect on objects.

Vegeta having resistance to EE is a shoe-in, IMHO. Frieza was able to resist Sidra's Energy of Destruction with great effort and we granted him resistance for it. Vegeta no-selling Toppo's multiple times in rapid succesion (which Frieza could not overcome at all, even once) is quite the feat.

Hakai or Destruction is just the technique. The Energy of Destruction is what goes into the technique. There is no reason to act as though the two are different things if you ask me.

its obv toppos variation is weaker and slower also he takes to long to charge it . so ya ill say its the lowest form of hakai

There is a difference.

Zeno's erasure > GoD's erasure (hakai techinque) > GoD Energy of Destruction

Do you honestly believe that if Beerus jumped down the stage and used the same technique he used on Zamasu and the ghost, Vegeta will resist it?

Vegeta gets Resistance to Existence Erasure. That's pretty obvious.

Don't know about the power nullification.

@GreenF0rest

Yes, I do. There's no reason to assume that wouldn't be the case.

Zamasu is nothing special compared to BSSJB Vegeta, who was stated by the title to surpass GoD level, with Toppo explicitly being noted to be GoD level multiple times, or even Golden Freeza/Android 17, even pre-ToP. He was lucky to be comparable to SSJ2 Goku around early FT arc, who actually casually curbstomped him. And Dr. Mashirito is utter fodder compared to even the likes of Krillin. So yes, I do think he would resist it. Until Beerus shows otherwise, it's less of a stretch to assume Vegeta can resist it than it is to assume Beerus can just erase anyone or even that he's the "strongest," GoD. Not to mention in Episode 67, it's mentioned that not even Beerus could erase Zamasu after he became immortal, so take that how you wish. And Toppo stated he could easily erase Freeza were it not against the rules.

PN is only for the Void Manip part since he was able to lock fists with and touch Toppo.

Vegeta resisted Toppo's EE. That's enough to grant a resistance. IDK why Beerus was brought up in this thread anyway.

>calls me a wanker

Someone seems upset that I'm not overestimating Beerus' abilities.

And @Hadou

Freeza didn't affect Toppo's Void Aura. He held him in place for like 2 seconds, like Hit did to Jiren.

Well, it's pretty visible when attacks get erased, purple energy emanates from the opposite energy, and instead, that didn't happen, and these energy blasts fired at Toppo even exploded.

Nonetheless, he still did not damage him.

I just feel like if someone like if Vegeta blasts or hit someone, it won't keep them from being able to use void-based techniques if they're able to do so, I just feel like Vegeta should resist Void Manipulation, which is basically just as effective.

If people think that Void/Existence erasure is good, then I'm fine with that. We just need Staff support now.

It's resistance to both because both abilities are featured separately on Toppo's profile.
