Very Slight Ultra Beasts Hax Revision

According to these scans from the recent S/M chapter, Nebby and Ultra Beasts have the ability to cut through space, even when not making Ultra wormholes.

What this would actually be im not sure bu it is what it is.
 
Spatial Manipulation, but it should be noted that this wasn't applied in combat.

Maybe, but it also means that they weren't shown to use it in combat in-character and typically would not resort to using it.
 
From seeing these scans, it doesn't look like the UBs are the ones doing it. It just says that they were trying to come out of the cracks.
 
I'll take a closer look at them to see.

However Nebby is definitely making one on its own, so its at least appliable to Solgaleo, Lunala and Necrozma when having them absorbed.
 
Yeah taking a closer look at it, there's misunderstanding. Their causing it, and its my fault for not bringing another scan.

If you take a look at the top part of the scan with Mallow, she's talking about a different instance that involves Xurkitree trying to come out of its own crack. In the picture right above, Buzzhole is a different sighting (i'll post the scan for that) in which its already there fighting one of the captains and Moon confirms Buzzhole made its own crack through witnesses. Plus we even see the crack that Buzzhole made.

That means Buzzhole and Xurkitree weren't coming from the same cracks in space, but their own at different times.
 
As far as Nebby goes, Nebby canonically needs to go full power and evolve into Cosmeom (can't spell it) to even open an Ultra Wormhole for a short time. To the point where Nebby can even die. Here, Nebby's casually waving its little cloud hand and space is cut, so that definitely isnt an Ultra Wormhole. And if it was Bernet would have said something (don't doubt my wifes word ovo)

For the others, not totally sure but their cracks were compared to the one Nebby made so id say its safe to assume the same thing that there just cuts in space, not actual wormholes.

Yeah but did any source state the ub made the crack? Explicitly with no guessing needed?
 
Wait wut? When did Nebby make Ultra Holes on its own in the manga (not counting this)? Let alone the game?

I thought that Nebby required evolving in order to reopen the wormhole, which was why Lusamine was so bent on getting it to unleash full power.

Still, like Saikou mentioned, that was incredibly accidental and definitely cannot do it at will without evolving into Cosmeom and being on the brink of death.

Here that is very much not the case.
 
The manga confirms that the Ultra Beasts can cut the space, so Spatial Manipulation would be added (not applicable in combat for now).
