Bo-bobo Discussion Thread

So like, I feel like the reason we don't have pages for Bo-bobo characters is because nobody has really stepped up to do it. Well, since I have experience making pages now, like I did with the Golden Sun characters, I feel like I can do this verse. I'm still going to work on the Golden Sun verse, but I recently found raw scans for the chapters of Bo-bobo that I had been looking for, for years, so I postponed finishing the last two games of Umineko and finishing the Golden Sun games to reread the entire Bo-bobo manga and find feats for it, and also read the parts I've never read. So for the past couple days, I've been making blog pages for characters in my notes and reading, and I'm currently at chapter 51. This is where the better feats start coming in. A good few characters already have a lot of hax, and I have most of the cast listed as 5-C for a feat that I remember during a much later chapter that happens before the cast undergoes their mass training. However, I've also noticed that the feat could potentially be a higher one. I'll ask about it in the calc thread, though, because it is a feat that scales to just about everyone, and it might be a speed feat that scales, too.

Does anyone else like this series? Does anyone waaaaanna help me?

Inb4 someone says this is a gag series and characters shouldn't have pages.

Doesn't Bobobo have like tier 3 feats somewhere? At the very least I remember one episode said that he destroyed a star once

He pulled the Sun down and threw it at the opponent, then destroyed it. I have already put a key where Bo-bobo is 4-C after releasing the Nose Hair Seal, but that feat may be higher than mere 4-C. I figured not, though, seeing as it only takes him seconds to reach the Sun and back from Earth.

The 5-C feat involves Pluto in the battle with Gyodai Girl. Also, I'm making the pages based off of the manga, not the anime.

I have pages for Bo-bobo, Don Patch, Tokoro Tennosuke, Heppokomaru, Hatenko, Gunkan, Purupü, Halekulani, OVER/Gyodai Girl, Serviceman, Softon, Katsu, Bobopatch, Dengakuman, King Nose Hair, Rice, and Beauty, so far. I intend to make more. Beauty is Unknown, and most others are either 5-C or 4-C.

Well, I mean, certain things can be used from the anime, but manga will take priority. Like, Bo-bobo World kills the opponent if they fail to release their soul through Hajike. This was explained in the manga, not the anime, the anime doesn't explain what it does very well. But I've seen Bo-bobo teleport in the anime a couple times, and I've yet to see this to chapter 51, nor do I recall it, but I added Teleportation, anyway.

Can feats from the anime be used? Because iirc one episodes narration said Bobobo destroyed a star once

One episode's narration said that Dengakuman was Omnipotent. Uhm, most notable feats from the anime also appear in the manga. Bo-bobo destroyed a star in the anime and the manga, but he did it after releasing the Nose Hair Seal. If you can find a Star level feat in the anime where...

A) He hasn't activated Nose Hair Soul(What they call Nose Hair Seal) in the anime), or B) It's before the Supermarket Training, which happens in Season 2

Then sure. Show me.

So, I found that 4-A feats exist. Bo-bobo has one 4-A feat before Super Bo-bobo, he has one not too far after, and Bobopatchnosuke also has one, but he's a fusion.

I remember Tsuru Tsururina III. What he's creating is actually just a pocket reality, but if it says universe when I get to that part, which shouldn't be but like fifty something chapters, then I'll screenshot it.

Also, alright, I'll check out the respect thread and be back. So the cast being 4-A, is that fine?

A lot of the stuff in the respect thread is wrong. I've already started listing all the notable moves for everyone, so that respect thread is kinda useless.

I'm not sure if that feat can be used since the nature of the scene, so it's better for other users to see if that feat is fine and can be used.

Well, Bobopatchnosuke also has Majide Time, which is a created alternate space that has a background full of stars. The fusion of Bo-bobo, Don Patch, and Tokoro Tennosuke. Seeing as Bo-bobo and the others were doing damage to the Three Civilisations before the fusion, and they survived the fusion, I didn't think it would be too inconsistent.

Bo-bobo also creates a pocket reality with a background of stars called Bo-bobo Nightmare World, but this is after the Supermarket Training.

I just realised I say it so casually. ^•|| Right as the Old Maruhage Empire Arc is starting, Bo-bobo and his team train at the Supermarket, and all of them get a massive boost in power. Bo-bobo even becomes Super Bo-bobo. So I intended to have a "Post-Supermarket Training" on their key. Even if they end up being 4-A before and after, there will still be hax involved. Also, if that thing with Tsuru Tsururina III is right, they may be 3-A after Supermarket Training.

Guys, Serviceman has High Universal range.
I know considering his method of attacks, i remember that Bobobo defeated Hanpen, who turned into a star.

Hanpen became a star when they reflected his attack back at him and part of his face broke off in the shape of a star

Hanpen only turned into the shape of a star, not an actual star. Don Patch did better than him, lighting up the sky in that one scene where Bo-bobo moved the stars to change to night. At the end of the series of Shinsetsu, Don Patch literally is the Sun. Even before the fight with Hanpen, Bo-bobo turns into the number three in the sky and is "three times stronger and hotter than the Sun".

So like, during the fight with Bo-bobo's team VS Halekulani, Bo-bobo creates another pocket reality that has a background full of stars. Another 4-A feat. Are we all on board with 4-A cast of Bo-bobo pre-Supermarket Training?

Also, if Tsuru Tsururina III actually makes a parallel universe, then it would be a High 3-A feat due to the original universe stated to having infinite galaxies in it, in Bo-bobo. This is why I mentioned Serviceman having High Universal range. He flashes the whole universe in one attack in a game.

One of Bobo's fusions was said to have the ability to "calmly destroy the universe" or something.

Could you link the Pluto feat?

Could you find which fusion that would be? Reminds me of Bobopatchnosuke's walking, which I think the quote you mentioned came from the anime, though I may be wrong.

And alright, I'll grab the Pluto feat. This may constitute pretty high attack speed, the highest I've seen, yet.

I'll calc the Pluto feat tomorrow. That's way higher then 5-C.

It's here, just ctrl+F for "universe" and it's the second result.

Since I lack the ability to Ctrl+F, because phone, I looked for what you talked about, and it wasn't a fusion. It was just a part of one of his Hanage Shinken techniques.

"Bo-bobo attempts to get fish from an outer space fish market and ends up "calmly" destroying the universe."

I remember this in the manga. It's just a page that talks about what Bo-bobo does without showing it. Seeing as this is before the Supermarket Training, I would either consider this an outlier, or just overlook it.

Just saying this out there: You shouldn't make a verse page before making any profiles.

Why not? I usually make the verse profile first. When I first came to this wiki South Park had a verse profile but no character profiles.

That's because you're a silly boy who didn't check his steam messages.

A verse page is secondary, to collect all the profiles of a page. This is because of this that we often end up with pages for empty verses. Either the author never bothered to make profiles or the only profiles for the verse were deleted due to poor quality.

I don't think theirs anything wrong with having a verse page first, but if theirs no characters after like, a year or so, then it should be deleted.
