This is pretty tricky. Sephiroth outclasses Zero in almost every category except for a huge speed disadvantage. I think Sephiroth hax should also give him a huge advatange. In the end I see Sephiroth winning with high difficulty.

If Sephiroth starts in base, he gets blitzed hard thanks to Zero's Time and Soul Hax.. Otherwise it's a toss up since Sephiroth is too slow to really catch Zero (Sephiroth doesn't use his hax while in Safer mode aside from his Heartless Angel attack).

It should be noted that Zero has resistance to time hax since X can't use Dark Hold on him, which freezes time all around him.

Wouldnt Supernova do the trick? It takes place in another dimension and Zero would need Space travel capabilities to avoid it. If not, I guess Zero takes this.

Zero definitely take this as he has haxs that counter Sephiroth and I not so sure about the Super nova one.

Zero could kill Sephy before then via soul and matter manipulation, neither of which Sephiroth has a counter to, and he's hax resistant as all hell.
