He absorbed Kiato's swordsmanship, allowing him to parry a blow from Vetto by deflecting the force of the blow; had he not done so, his head would have been severed from his body, and as you can see from this, Asta can minimise damage. He is already much faster than zeref, so she should have no problem with this.

that still doesn't matter since Zeref is tens of thousands of times stronger and more durable, even if Asta uses Zetten. Asta attacking him in any way will accomplish literally nothing, and Zeref touching him once means he pops Asta like a balloon

And that's assuming Zeref uses literally zero magic whatsoever. Zeref has several ways of bypassing Asta's antimagic (like Death Predation, Dark Repent, and Dark Cage), as well as Low Godly which Asta has no answer to unless he somehow manages to negate the Curse, which is extremely unlikely.

Asta constantly struggles against characters who are overwhelmingly stronger or faster than himself, to such an extent that sometimes he can't negate other characters's magic simply due to the sheer difference between them. Zeref is thousands of times stronger than the entirety of Black Clover combined, meaning there's no reason to assume that the same thing won't happen
