Ignoring Cecilius enchanted swords, which are a major part of his arsenal, how does Asta deal with the Re Zero skillslop, and the speed difference? Cecilus being able to dodge every grain of sand in a sandstorm, and being able to slow down his perception to such an extent he can swing his sword a hundred million times in is mind, and reap the benefits of that, all in second is bad enough, but the combat speed difference is massive.

Then there is stuff like his absurd intuition that can figure out that someone is reversing time, or knowing exactly where the mastermind of a large scale disaster is, despite nobody even knowing there was someone even causing the disaster...

I really need to update the skill blog, in Re Zero intuition gets absurd.

actual skillslop

skillsloppy toppy with a twist is good and all but when are people gonna make arguements for asta or vote

"does he use the sword in his hands in a fight?"
He could have something like Reinhard where it has restrictions,it was a valid question.

. Is something like This not combat speed? What are the multipliers that cecilus has? Cause Asta has like 100x overall. Unless I am misunderstanding something (and if I am, then I am cooked.

Are his powers besides the swords cm2 based? Cause if not it just seems that Asta has passive energy negation on cm3 level . If Asta is faster, I don’t see why he wouldn’t just use a zetten infused dimensional slash and oneshot. Since he mostly uses Yami katana.

I need to update a lot of shi for black clover, imma make a rematch in like a month or so. But would intuition really matter if he gets blitzed?

You were talking about range, but does that matter? The range stated in the OP is 30m, and even if it were 4km, both have the range to hit each other.

It's kind of strange to see a fight where one character can score a one-hit kill and the other has most of his abilities rendered useless because he's not facing someone with magic.

In addition to the equalized speed issues.

Asta's MFTL+ will be equalized to Cecilus' MHS+, and Cecilius, due to the difference between movement and combat speed, will have a blitz advantage. And from what I saw on the BC multipliers page, Asta doesn't have enough multipliers.
Ignore what I said.

I checked the rules again so both of them will be FTL in combat (Cecilius having a disadvantage with MHS+ travel)

From the profile, it seems to be the same thing, since I only see a difference in speeds in the wiki profiles when they are different.
arent they all human speed or superhuman by default? I have only ever really seen specifications when they are duly noted to be higher than that

I didn't find anything on the "speed" page and vs thread rules that say that.
I know but travel speed being by default equal to the combat speed doesnt make any sense. I have also seen most profiles highlighting the movement speed differently, although what would Asta's travel speed even be?

It would still be ftl+ even if you ignore the mtl stuff

I was more so thinking about outpacing light that was already fired. Idk if that counts as travel speed or if it is something like combat speed for some reason
Cecilus has done the same thing and he doesnt have FTL travel speed either so probably that

I feel like he just dodged it or something, while in this case light was shot, and then someone ran ,caught up to it,passed it, and then blocked it
he was running away from them and was so fast he basically was playing with light

None of your pictures are ever visible for me

anyways continuing the discussion, what can Asta do to stop himself from being cut by Cecilus?

Idk, maybe causality manip, or spatial cut with dimensional slash, I am planning to make a thread within a month,so I would like if this could just be reopened then, as hopefully Asta will have cm2 and will be able to powernull

even in that case there are levels to cm2 with Cecilus being able to straight up null the source of the attack (which i doubt is where asta scales at)

Plus currently we will scale the versions available on the profile so if he is far enough above we can vote on him and then later make a rematch with asta having the cm2 which might turn the tides to his favour\

We still have to think about how asta manages to hit cecilus since he is slick enough to dodge rain particles in a rainstorm or sand particles in a sandstorm which is physically impossible to achieve even with infinite speed

In this wiki you can dodge omnipresent attacks with infinite speed so yes, you can dodge these things with that speed.

Did you make a CRT
Yeah
