Why Kiryu's Cannon counts as AP?

So Kiryu is High 6-A for freezing buildings with the ABZC, which freezes to Absolute Zero.

However, Absolute Zero ignores durability and is a hax. So why does it scales to AP?

cause goji took a direct hit and tanked it and i am pretty sure the weapons in the next movie have a higher energy output. There's also the whole thing with energy depletion and such but idk if i can explain it properly so better call someone over.
