Why is Zekrom and Reshiram considered more powerful than Genesect?

One thing I’ve wondered about Pokémon is that if Team Plasma wanted Zekrom or Reshiram because they want power over everyone, why don’t they use Genesect instead? Is that a plot hole?

If Zekrom and Reshiram are more powerful, that would fill in the plot hole. But has it been canonically confirmed that they’re more powerful than Genesect? If so, then how?

edit: talked to a non-vsdebating pokémon fan about this and we came to the conclusion that “if genesect was as powerful as them then they’ve would’ve used genesect”. would’ve preferred it if they addressed that in canon but it answers my question so whateves…

They have proper statements suggesting their immense power, Genesect does not. You'd need to prove Genesect is close to them.
