Darkseid has a 3-A key but IIRC all the previous 3-As of DC were upgraded to low 2-C correct? The two characters that were linked are 4-B so where does 3-A come from?

It's because he destroyed a fifth of the DC Universe (which is far larger then 3-A's baseline size)
