It's not actually backed up by anything in the series, unless I missed something, this is a WoG statement and nothing more

Unless someone can show me how it's backed up in the series

Anyways, I've been meaning to make this thread for a while now, but due to my procrastination I never did lol

If it is a WoG statement that is not backed up by anything in the series, somebody should probably adjust the profile accordingly.

I never got the extremely massive scrutiny everyone has constantly given Hideki's statements while unquestionably accepting this offhanded statement that's literally infinitely greater than any of his feats with no problem at all. I agree with removing it.

Rick says something along the lines of "The multiverse is infinite Morty" but they do contradict this a lot. We decided inconsistencies should be ignored since writing a story where there are infinite universes is hard to write without these inconsistencies.

If WoG states it, then he states it.
And if what he states is nonsense, we ignore it.

If we went by what the author said at all times, we'd have 2-A Elder God Demonbane, Relativistic+ Flash, High 3-A Metal Bat, etc.

And we have a rule about how we're not quick to accept WoG statements unless they are supported by the original work or not severely contradicted. 2-A Rick is not supported in the series at all. His best showing at the moment is Low 2-C.

If Mundus didn't have a feat that could be possibly interpreted as 3-A, we'd never accept Hideki's statements. Why should we accept a statement literally infinitely greater than all Rick's other feats put together?

I'm sorry but with all due respect the supposed inconsistencies you brought up weren't very good. At least going by this thread. (Not sure if there is more to contradict infinite multiverse though)

I still believe the Rick and Morty multiverse is infinite. However nothing in series seems to suggest Rick can destroy the multiverse in its entirety yet.

Yeah they were pretty bad.

There are a few lines where Rick says the multiverse is infinite, i just cant remember if he ever said he could destroy it.

You never know, it might happen someday.

That's entirely irrelevant. And Saitama "might" actually throw a punch with half the force of the Big Bang. We won't give him any rating or even consider it in the slightest unless it really happens. That should be the case with Rick as well in my opinion.

I thought this wiki accepts Word of God unless something else the creator said contradicts the first statement.
Primary source takes preceence over Word of God, always. Death of the Author is in full display here. If the author claims something and nothing in the series exists to support it, we won't accept it.

I agree with Ryukama. Feel free to adjust Rick's profile accordingly.

Also speaking of Rick's tier, do these "large aliens" that he harms have any feats? And how "large" are they? Because depnding on how powerful or big they are, it seems like that doesn't necessarily have to be Wall level.

@Ryukama Okay. Thank you for the help.
