When can you make profiles for individual weapons, and when can you just specify them in the character profile?

Why do some characters have weapons of their own, and some have them just described in the profile of the character himself among his equipment?

When can you make a separate weapon profile, and when should you not? In Devil May Cry, there is a profile for the sword Rebellion and Yamato, but not for Dante's other weapons that he has had throughout the series. They are just described in his profile.

However, in DOOM almost all (if not all) of Doomguy's weapons have their own profile.

Depends on whether the weapons are notable signature weapons and have their own feats notable enough to justify their separate existence.

Case in point, Blades of Chaos, Blades of Athena/Exile, Leviathan Axe, Blade of Olympus and then some. Some weapons are simply not given profiles so as to avoid stat padding for stuff that lack their own power sets.

Sometimes, if the number of abilties the weapons have are simply too much to put on the wielder's profile, we make separate profiles for them. For example, the Spear of Destiny.

And how to indicate this in the character profile? Like, among the abilities, write not "Fate Manipulation, Reality Manipulation, and so on with the Spear of Destiny", but "Ability of the Spear of Destiny" and leave a link to the profile of the Spear of Destiny?

Just write the abilities name and in the bracket just note down (Wields these abilities with X weapon).
