When a character gets upgraded or downgraded to a certain tier

From what I've seen in my roughly one year here in the VS Battles Wiki, when a ceertain character gets upgraded or downgraded to a certain tier: most notably in the Tier 2 category such as Low 2-C, 2-B, and 2-A, that certain characters get spammed in many matches of that tier before eventually dying out in a few weeks or so.

Some notable characters that I know at least are such as Cosmic Entities from Marvel and DC, Alien X, Sonic from the Archie Comics and the games, Bill Cipher, and some Mario characters.

Could you name any. Also note that it doesn't have to be in the tier 2 category. It can be any tier

If they get Low 2-C, they're almost instantly thrown at Goku, Beerus, Kratos, Dante and/or Joker.

4-A also seems to be popular to an extent to fight Kirby, the Belmonts, Mario and Sonic. Helps reaching that tier is relatively easy.

I'm surprised no one has done Slenderma VS Goku yet..

Tier 2-B generally has people put then against Son Goku (Xeno), Darkrai, Asriel Dreemurr, and as mentioned Alien X. People also like to put people against Zeno if they think they have a a chance against his Erasure. And of course their is Rimuru Tempest (Web Novel)

Once Pennywise became High 7-A, they put him against everyone under the sun.

Hell, he even went up against Spongebob
