What would be considered a large forest and how deep would it be?

I once asked about the ap of destroying a forest and was told that there is no average size for them, because you know, is a forest.
If the forest is famous for being huge and stuff, i assume it is considered the largest? If so, perhaps you can use the biggest forest in the world, or maybe do some ends with famously huge forests
