What kind of feat is this?

Alright, help me with this.

I don't know how fast the bus is going. But I know it's a typical greyhound bus.

There's 3 curb weights. 35,100 lbs, 44,400 lbs OR 48,000lb

Let's use the median. 44,400 lbs to Kilos is 20,139.50kg

If it was 48,000 it would be 21,772.43kg

So, class 25.

Considering a City Bus is going at least 30, 35mph I don't see why Class 50 couldnt be possible rating for this feat.

If you calc the force of the bus you can get Lifting Strength and if you calc it's KE you get durability

I'm going to try and calc the force of the bus.

How much force is required to stop a bus (in 10 seconds) with the mass of 48,000lbs (21,772kg) moving at a speed of 49km/h (30mph) ?

49km/h = 13.61 m/s

The acceleration on the bus = ( v - u)/t = ( 0m/s - 13.61 m/s)/ 10s= -1.36 m / s2 ( minus sign implies deceleration)

Force used to stop the bus = mass of the bus in kg× deceleration = 21,722kg × -1.36m / s2

End Result = -29,541.82N

29541N = 6641.08lbf

48,000lb +6641.08lbf = 54,641.08 Total

54,641.08lbs to kg = 24,784.78kg. So still Class 25 I believe. But close to Class 50
