Being a natural fan of quicksilver from the comics, i took on his persona, but his MCU version at first(for those of you who who remeber), but switched to fox version as soon as i watched days of future past and aoa

I came up with the name LordGriffin1000 from a character I created like 2 years ago.
He was an angel named Griffin who left heaven to protect mortals and became the "Lord of Humanity" and most address him as "My Lord" and then he disappeared for 1,000 years and returned as a fallen angel with no memories of his past and now must gather his lost memories.
Thus I decided to create the username LordGriffin1000 and I've been using it ever since.

Scarlet is my favorite color and I don't actually remember how I began to use Firefly as a username.
A surprising amount of people think I'm a girl from my username so that's a bit annoying, but I've been gifted skins in LoL more than once based on that premise so...silver linings I guess lol.

Scarlet is traditionally a feminine name (or at least I've known a girl named Scarlet), so that would be why. I thought that too at first until I went in and saw your profile.

Honestly, "Red Firefly" does sound more masculine to me... though that might just be because I think of characters wearing the colour red when I hear "red" and when I hear "Scarlet" I think of this girl I used to know.
Though if you were the "Crimson Firefly"... that would never be mistaken for anything but masculine (probably, don't sue me if I'm wrong)
But I still reckon your female avi plays a big part in the misconception.
