Hello there,
I've been doing some research on what the Doom Slayer is, and I believe that the most logical conclusion to put under his classification would be this:
"Immortal Human, Former Night Sentinel". The reason for this is because Quake Champions has confirmed that he is the "same human Marine from the original Doom."
"Quake Champions confirms he is the same human Marine from the original Doom."
Furthermore, it is also theorized that he could've been the "leader" of the Night Sentinels, as stated on the Night Sentinel Page:
"The Doom Slayer was originally a member or perhaps leader of the order and is now the last of their kind. This is supported by the first part of the Slayer's Testament, which describes the Doom Slayer as wearing the 'crown of the Night Sentinels.'"
