Is anyone here going to make a Hololive profile based on official lores?

Also what do you guys consider as official lores aside from lore videos, debut lore, and official biography of holomems? Do lores from holomems MV count as official lores?

If anyone is going to make a Hololive profile based on official lores, is it going to be separated according to their branch/gen or connected altogether?

The problem with using "official lore" is that you'd need consistency, relevant feats and canonicity to do that. Barely any Holo Talents ever talk about or expand their lore, which makes it undesirable to focus on their streamer lore, unless there's really something. There's also the headache of "what counts as lore" in the first place. Does a ramdom lore rambling in a collab count? Do MVs count? If so, which ones? Is there even a thread connecting them? If an illustrator adds lore to their VTuber, does that count, or is it rejected because it's not "official"?
I'm personally of the opinion that there are too many issues in trying to use "official VTuber lore". A lot of it would come from streams, which I'm fairly certain is a no-no as a source on the website. Finally, some time ago, there was a lot of discussion around the Professional Wrestling verse and to what extent personas should count when making profiles. In the end, a large number of profiles got removed.

What if we just use official lores from hololive such as Prelude and Omen, and holomem's official biography while ignoring all streams and twitter lores? Would that work?

Though if that's the case then only Council would have enough official lore to be scaled.

Then start with the most consistent one, Council's lore.

Council's official lore alone (Prelude, Omen, Council's official biography) makes them at least Low 1-A, possibly 1-A for Sana, Kronii, Fauna, and Mumei, while Bae is at least 1-A, possibly 1 layer above baseline.

That alone barely answers anything. You get vague shots and/or narration for "Possibly Tier X" and a handful of abilities... and then what? You can't get values for the other stats, there isn’t all that much to go of off, and leaving it up to assumptions is unlikely to pass.
And that's without taking into account the reworked lore, which nearly completely drops the "being avatars" thing.

But yeah, I'm in same sentiment with the others that we shouldn't use Hololore since it's way too convoluted, and beside I believe this kind of stuff aren't allowed since all of it are based from fan theories
 
Fauna is my oshi after Sana left. Dont know if I can keep going on with Hololive after this.
 
I will drop my two cents on the situation.

The way I see it, graduations are essentially a turnover, which is something that any company does. Corporate Vtubing is barely 10 years old. Corporate Vtubing is so recent that we hadn't had that in Hololive until now. It's just that, after 6 years, Hololive turnover is starting to happen. Employees come and go from companies, and VTuber groups aren't exempt from this.
Hololive has been overwhelmingly positive ever since the shitstorm they went through back in 2020. However, this is the reality check for everyone that things change, direction change, and there are bound to be conflict and disagreement in the workplace. Disagreements is one thing, but it's nothing new or special when you have a job, since, after all, disagreement =/= fault.
We develop the disillusion that Vtubers would last forever or no talents would ever graduate cuz they are family. Unfortunately, reality doesn't work like that. In the end, they are employees with a job; a unique job, but a job nonetheless. We may have a strong bond developed with coworkers and the workplace, but it can be irrelevant if we want to leave for various reasons.
What I can say is that it's okay to hurt, it's okay to be worried. Seeing 4 back-to-back graduations isn't good news. However, that doesn't negate all the positives that happened this year: 5th Fes, Breaking Dimensions concert, SEA Concert Tour, many Sololives, HoloARK, HoloGTA, EN Reco, HoloJustice, FLOW GLOW, Advent 3D, ReGloss 3D, and more I'm forgetting. It also doesn't negate the feelings of the talents who are happy in Hololive and regularly vocalise it.
This isn't meant to be a defense of Cover, as they have made many mistakes in the past, they are far from perfect, and they are liable to complaints if things don't go well. However, pointing fingers and painting Cover as an evil entity simply because of turnovers won't help anyone.
 


I saw this fan-animation that just came out, and it's fantastic.
This person in general has created several high-quality Hololive fan-animations.

Would you classify the effect of Koyori's potions as Time Manipulation? I'm unsure, because Matsuri's actions are affected, but her perception, processing speed or senses appear unaffected.
 
As cool as this is, I don't think anything can be done with it.
If ENreco lore is tied directly to the base VTuber/streamer lore by Hololive, we straight up cannot use it because of the rules around such cases.
If ENreco lore is its own isolated thing, separate from other Holo-lore, then mayyyyybe something can be done with it. However, because it's still partially tied to stream content, I'm unsure if it would be allowed. You can be my guest to try.

Is only Hologra allowed for feats?

Recently Bijou had a lore stream, directly referenced the 3D debut, and in it the final boss (Kaela Kovalskia) had universal statements she seemed confident in pulling through

Unless there's like actual rules Cover made, it would seem to me you just composite everything. Hologra is a barely coherent show as it stands with the world getting destroyed, characters getting deleted, etc all the time.

In HoloGra, the VTubers act as characters, not as streamers. As a result, combined with the fact HoloGra is an official animated series, it checks the requirements for profile indexing on the wiki. Also, HoloGra is essentially Looney Tunes Hololive-edition. The world getting destroyed frequently, characters vanishing, or other wackiness, isn't an issue. And there is a linear consistency, as some episodes reference older ones.

If you look at our Hololive page, you will see profiles for HoloGra, Stars*Collection (the Stars version of HoloGra), holoX MEETing (an officially licensed manga), and Holo X Break (a game licensed under Holo Indie, Hololive's game brand). Essentially, any non-stream-related medium that features Hololive VTubers as characters and is officially licensed/endorsed by Cover, is good to go for profile indexing (as long as there are stats/feats).
As such, other things like Yamato Phantasia (another Hololive manga), Evil God Korone (a collaborative game with partnership with Cover) or Chrono Gear (an upcoming game under Holo Indie) would be valid. However, HoloCure wouldn't because it's not under Holo Indie.
 
To me it just seems like there might as well be no vtuber profiles on VSB given the standards because it's basically not representing a character to use a fraction of the things their character has done. I wouldn't mind if the framing wasn't made in a way where wiki readers to pretend all the other stuff never even happened. Like there's not even a blurb that states we know this character has better feats but due to wiki standards we limit to Hologra, I wouldn't mind at least if it was like "X vtuber (Hologra)".

We treat every Hololive anime, manga and game as its own separate canon. As a result, I disagree with the notion of "we use a fraction of the things a character has done", because whatever Kronii, Calli, Laplus or Fubuki have said on-stream about their lore doesn't have an impact on their HoloGra, Chrono Gear or holoX MEETing profiles.

For example, iirc during Holo Council debut, the lore is that Sana destroyed Earth and then either Fauna restored it or Kronii used time powers to bring back (I don't remember which). That's cool and all, however that's streamer lore, which VSB forbids. Neither Fauna nor Kronii ever displayed similar feats in HoloGra; as such, they are not used, because the two instances are treated separately.
 
As for "X Vtuber (HoloGra)", it's not needed. The characters on our Hololive page are categorized by medium entry. So, under Holo no Graffiti, you see all our current HoloGra profiles; same for Stars, holoX MEETing, etc. If you look at Choco or Aqua, their profile lists "Origin: Holo no Graffiti". For Botan, it lists "Origin: Holo X Break", etc.
Currently, the only exceptions are Koyori and Iroha because they were eligible for 3 and 2 entries respectively, so you have "Koyori (Holo no Graffiti)", "Koyori (holoX MEETing)" and "Koyori (Holo X Break)".
