Comicvine and Spacebattles are huge offenders of the AOE and Ad Hominen fallacy in particular. Even if the math, and reasoning is solid. They just sa y "muh its VS battles so its wrong", or "muh we dont see city wide destruction with every hit so muh its wrong"

These are the same guys who just look at a feat, with no calculations whatsoever and decide witch one is better, same with speed feats. They also prioritize lifting strength as a stat, despite the objective fact that since it's portrayed so inconsistently in fiction, that it does not correlate with Striking Strength much of the time.

They also claim we ban people that disagree with us. Despite the fact that's exactly what THEY do. Trust me, I spent two years on Spacebattles and a little bit on Comicvine. So I know all about it.

Nothing is getting out of hand. I'm just giving reasons why people should not take the haters from places like Comicvine and Spacebattles seriously.

I actually lurked out comic vine a lot, and I mean a LOT! (They are probably what introduced me to the vs community). I didn't think they were really that bad back then...but that's because I was just as ignorant as them when it came to VS debating.

Let just say the meme is not true and call it's a day.

Well, Therre is no truth or correct statics if everyone keep have their own opinion. Isnt this also the reason why OBD got hated ? After all, they just have their own opinion like ã░e do so it's just foolish to ask about the absolutely correct profiles of the characters

to be honest. I didnt really joined VSBW for debating (although it's also fun as well) instead, i joined to have a place to hang out and have fun. Even if this wiki is imperfect and people still talk bad about it, it's doesnt matter to me. You guys are the only one i can actually enjoying talking about power level of characters without feeling akward about(or feeling annoyed).
