Okay moving on back to actual pet peeves. The amount of pinned threads on the News & Announcements sub-forum is insane. Like,

Your pet peeve has been taken care of. I am now removing your ability to complain on the forum, as well as your tongue, for the next thirty-two trillion years as payment for my great boon.

The separation between Low Multiversal and Multiversal is pretty arbitrary, 2-C covers 2 to 1000 timelines but 2-B goes anywhere from 1001 to above Graham's number of timelines so long as it's not infinite. If it wasn't a hassle to change everything then Universal+ should really be 2-C and 2-B should cover anywhere from 2 to a higher finite number of timelines.

There once was a thread to replace this arbitrary cutoff with something that seemed to make more sense (at least to me)

That didn't go well

Idk if I've mentioned this before, but I despise it when verse supporters only give attention to the biggest, most overpowered characters and leave every other profile to rot. It gives off the impression of indexing just for the sake of getting higher numbers and better hax, not indexing for the sake of making information easily accessible and understandable.

Sure but isnt that to be expected. The strongest characters in series are usually also among the most popular (especially in fight heavy series) so its natural that their profiles would attract the most attention

Of course, but side characters, even those who are also important in their own right, often have dogshit profiles that are neglected for years. No scans, no references, just the bare minimum amount of work put in. If all you do is jack off the strongest character in a series, then why the hell are you even on an indexing wiki?

9/10 the strongest characters are Villains or Protagonists and those also happen to be the most popular type of characters. More effort is put on their profiles because they are more appealing or interesting to index than some minor side character. I get your point though.

In general, powerscaling brainrot made people focus only into upgrading characters as much as they can without quality-checking the profiles themselves and these profiles end up ugly as hell even if they're the main focus of the upgrades.

Hate it when people just want to crunch the highest numbers possible instead of looking for consistency and quality

Can’t the reverse also be said tho? People that go for the lowest results possible simply because they’re lower are equally problematic I’d say

Profile quality also varies heavily, which I don’t like

Changing it wouldn't have been a hassle either with bots

I’m not talking about prevalence so much as I’m talking about the existence of such an issue. And it exists in enough circles to where I’d consider it a problem, even if perhaps to a lesser degree

Sure, again I'm not denying that people like that exist, I'm just pointing out that its far less common and less significant of an issue in the community when compared to the perpetual upgrade-frenzy.
