because the moment Vergil stands next to sidious he will be far slower, his stats get reduced with dark aura.

if Virgil has the capacity to one shot Sidious here with his blade the force will definitely tell Sidious that Virgil is essentially a threat... and unlike ROTJ their won't be any guy to throw Sidious off a ledge.

I'll vote inconclusive. They both have means of ending the fight almost immediately in character, so I can see it go either way.
