So I have been wondering a while about the galaxy-busting feat that Kirby survives

Outside this board, I've come across quite some scepticism towards this, the main points being:
1) Kirby seems totally unaffected by it despite the backdrop changing.
2) Even after Dark Nebula changes the background, there are still lingering stars in the background.
3) There were no actual galaxies destroyed, the background was only changed due to scenery (cinematics) or to bring home that you're fighting a boss monster. They usually bring up other games as example in which a character undergoes a super mode which leads to the background changing from (for example) a serene grassfield to a blazing battlefield with lava.
I was wondering what the emphasized arguments are that the galaxy in the background was legit and that there is substantial proof or evidence to argue in Kirby and Dark Nebula's favour.
