Upscaling and Tier-Jumping

I wouldn't really say deciding a multiplier is over regulating things.

Most verses won't give you enough information about what the difference in power between two characters have to be to constitute a stomp, so there may not be much actual details to analyse in most situations 8f we go case by case, and it would come down to subjective opinions.

For the sake of consistency I do think we should have a standard value to refer to when deciding if a tier jump is justified for a character.

It seems like most people here agree with alternative B, but I am not sure in which page and in what manner this should be officially clarified.

B is the "least bad" option. You're never going to take subjectivity out of evaluating characters for these profiles. A has built in inaccuracies; C is arguably even worse as it creates an illusion of reliability where there is none.

Okay. That seems fine. Do you have a suggestion for the text and which section it should be placed in?

"It is possible for a character who is depicted as superior to another in a statistic to be placed in a tier above the other, given that the other character is close to the the next tier. However, this ultimately needs to be decided through case-by-case analysis."

It should probably be "vastly superior" instead of just "superior" since we're usually talking about one-shots/taking no damage.
