A few problems with Kris' abilities.

Soul Manip: T hedescription of it implies that it allows to rip out others souls. It should logically work, but since it's never done, and they actually had to wait till their HP hit zero, it should only be that it could possibly do it.

Empathic Manip: It is simply Charismatic persuasion. It also failed to work on the king, and Ralsei is somewhat biased about fighting not being needed.

Sleep Manip: Factually wrong. They do not fall asleep, Ralsei needs to sing them to sleep after. (And she has shown the ability to sing people into sleep even without them being tired)

Power Bestowal: What does it come from? I only remember them making skills stronger, which is stat amping.

Healing and Energy Projection: Not really, no. At best you can argue that the bully would have it, but there is nothing implying everyone has it. Especially since humans have no magical power, as his own stats will tell you.


Another thing. shouldn't every monster have soul absorption? Like, it's pretty important that they can do that.

Kris didn't wait until their HP hit zero, as they never died, nor was the soul destroyed.

It was explained in Check that it didn't work on King because of the Darkness of the Fountain itself.

It's only Sleep Manipulation as in it makes them tired, not necessarily completely asleep.

When she upgrades Susie's Rude Buster to Red Buster, etc during their fight against King.

Part of the reason why it's include is because of the fact that they talked about such a thing so casually, is if it wasn't a surprise or out of place.

Erm, dude. You can litiraly hear they HP going down. When your HP hits zero your soul is supposed to come out, hell, your soul coming out should kill you regardless. It's quiet clearly due to chara. Or whoever toby makes the one making the contact be.

No. They never fall asleep. It is also done through being boring, and done to people who have the attention span of a child.

That is not power bestowal. It's stat amping.

I'm aware. All that means for sure is that it was painful.

Oh, you're right. Even so, the fact that he can't be reasoned with is due to outside means.

Almost falling asleep is still Sleep Manipulation. It's also the closest thing to Sleep Manipulation in the game without it happening.

Power Bestowal is amping other people, Statistics Amplification is amping yourself... which Kris also did in the same fight via Courage.

STATs of 0 in Undertale don't mean absolutely nothing. Heck, even Rudinn is literally made of solid diamond and he's got 0 DEF compared to other people. Kris has also shown several magical abilities via ACT other than the ones other people have.

Power Bestowal (not to be confused with Statistics Amplification) is the ability to grant others new abilities or even new forms, though generally not superior to that of the granter's.

He by lore cannot use magic, never showcased the ability to use magic and you nare assuming he can because another character of a whole different species remembered a skill the species is naturally gifted in...
