Ahem. Frieren casts Soul Track once. Rennala just dies because Soul Track has 2 layers of Durability Negation that can bypass magical defense so it goes through her forcefield and high magic resistance, killing her. You can alternatively make this Prime Rennala so that they both can oneshot each other because weakened Rennala isn't doing anything outside of Raya Lucaria.

Ok then.

Okay, Frieren will instantly realize that Rennala can oneshot her thanks to Mana Sensing letting her detect the MASSIVE gap in magical power. Still, I'm going to vote for the smug elf because of her ability to analyze and counter Rennala's spells, superior intelligence and experience, much higher range with her attacks which will come in handy if she can gain some distance, and finally Soul Track, we can't forget Soul Track, which homes in on its targets and oneshots them with durability neg if it lands. Rennala will put up a very good fight though thanks to superior LS (Not sure how useful this is since she doesn't really grapple or anything), the ability to summon spirits to aid her in combat (Though most of them are grounded and pretty useless apart from maybe the dragon), and her own amount of homing oneshotting spells that she can dish out which Frieren will be forced to outmaneuver or counter them instead of just using her magic defense like she normally does.
