"True Form' Key for All Might

Uh ... yes? If you really want a justifcation for a purely vs battle standpoint, his physical abilities are drastically below those of his muscle form with multiple weaknesses. That alone is more than enough reason to add another key even if said key won't see fights. People may like to make profiles for martial characters so they can see how they stack up with others in a fight (I can't begrudge them that) but what reason is there not to add a key to an already existing character profile when it is his base and most common form throughout the series.

Indexing > fights
 
So there are zero reasons to not add depowered versions of characters. It makes sense, since this is an indexing site first rather than a versus site.

If they don't have any real, consistent feats, we shouldn't put them up.

Let me adjust my phrasing; he has no proper feats unless you want to count scenes that are pure comedy.

If the depowered version had reasonable feats or abilities, something that could really make for a separate key, sure, I'd back this up.

But this is just tediousness for the sake of tediousness. At best you'll have an Unknown key or a key with iffy feats that will just clutter the profile.
 
If we dismiss the punch to Izuku then we have the anti-feat that he'd die if the rocks falls on him. That's something.
 
Seeing as basic humans would die from something like that, just make him whatever their tier is or the one below.
 
In that case there is no reason at all to give him a key; just assume he has the stats of a normal human if you ever want to use him in a Versus match-up...
 
It isn't about using him in a versus match up. It is about making the profile more complete.

Providing information for a versus thread isn't the main purpose of a profile anyway.
 
I'm not saying it's for versus matchups nor did I ever imply that. We're an indexing site, yes, but making keys for stuff that has no meaningful feats just makes profiles tedious and unappealing.

The key has no real reason being there. It's like me making a key of Edward Elric as a 10-C kid because of how integral the flashbacks are to his character. Sure, it "makes the profile more complete", but why is it even there?

What, should I make a key for Superman "with Kryptonite shoved into his hand"? It's certainly common in the comic books, wouldn't that make his profile more complete?

More keys for the sake of more keys is just more annoying to read and look at.
 
I agree. There's so many examples of pointless keys that could be added. This is one of those cases.
 
I disagree with it being pointless but whatever.

I have to take my leave from this thread now, in the middle of examinations right now and letting such a minor issue eat any more of my time would not be a good idea.

I will just make my peace with whatever conclusion this thread comes so feel free to carry on without me.
 
I agree with Dargoo, plus we have no idea what his tier is in this form, the only thing we know is that he is capable of casually catching a small rocket, and that he has been training since he lost OFA.

And if there is something without Statistics, there's no reason to have them up.

Nah, it's cool.

Considering currently AM is training his de-powered body we'll likely get feats in the future that would make a key viable, but for now it doesn't really have much of a place.
