In a flashback during the episode, "Thrill of the Hunt", Ratchet tries blasting Lockdown with his EMP generator at point-blank, and Lockdown casually moves his head out of the way of the blast.

Could this warrant a speed upgrade for Lockdown and the other characters of Transformers Animated who scale to him? Electromagnetic waves move at lightspeed.
