I've been using the vs wiki as a reference in vs matches with friends. We've toyed around with the idea of making tournaments using characters and there statistics from this wiki. I'm just wondering if this has ever been attempted before on the wiki (if i has i haven't seen anything on it), and if it hasn't I'm wondering if we can start one.
I think a few points need to be made before this starts. You would have to set it up based on the tear system already established on this site. Meaning no fighters can fight out side of there tear. (unless you argue there holding back for what ever reason. For example Son Goku from dbz might hold back simply because he wants a good fight, but he knows his full power would kill his opponent) You would also have to determine weather or not the tournament is to the death, KO or submission. The win condition would also need to be universal. You wouldn't want to let Berserker from the Fate/ series fight in a KO or submission tournament because Berserker is (in my opinion) unwilling or able to hold back his killing potential.
I don't want to ramble on to much. Simply Is there already a tournament system in place? If not can we start one using my (or a similar), system? if not why not?
