Top 5 Most Skilled Characters For Every Tier 5

Actually nvm, remove ikki from his spots. It'll be fun to argue him back to top spot once the revisions are over.
Once the revisions are done, I want to see Ikki taking top spot on every tier he is in.

Paraphrasing from another thread for Jin...

"In regards to the Fei guy: he was one of the most skilled in a tournament, where even fodder is considered to be genius combatants, and everyone wields a fighting style that's drastically superior to its real world counterpart in terms of technique and difficulty.

that Jin is a master of Re-Taekwondo, a fighting style so difficult to learn that Dean, someone who can copy almost any techniques just by seeing it once, and then train many many times faster than normal by training in both the present and a precognitive future simultaneously, took several days (to him it felt like months) to barely get down the most basic punches and kicks of the technique in an imperfect form.

Jin learnt this stuff effortlessly by seeing his grandfather do it once, while he was a baby."

This is, by the way, baby and human Jin before he unlocks his divine power.

Before this as the Monkey King, he was already surviving for thousands of years battling opponents comparable in skill.

Once the revisions are done, I want to see Ikki taking top spot on every tier he is in.

As someone whose helping with the revisions... are the really any doubts he will? XD

It'll still be fun to crush the heretics debate anyone who dares to oppose me and ikki who votes for a different character.

Maybe, but I am just paraphrasing from what I've seen and I haven't seen the justification for Oryx. I am sure Wok gave it in some of the past threads.

I am not sure. We had said before that experience is a big factor, but actual skill feats should come above if they are impressive enough.

That bit about combating people comparable to himself even for millennia is much better though.

Oh so I got summoned for this

To preface this, oryx sorta cheats for skill so idk how that factors in, but stuff off the top of my head:

  • Oryx is billions of years old and has been destroying civilizafions for most of that time. Much of this is due to his incredibly overpowered abilities, but there do exist individuals he has to beatthe normal way too, like his family. On that note:
  • Oryx and his sisters, each one comparable to him to the point that they have to use actual weapons and attacks to kill one another, once fought a war for 20k years straight basically just to level grind, making them all a lot more skilled and powerful by the end of it. His sisters are God of War and Goddess of Cunning, and he's outdone each in their area of expertise (overpowering Xivu Arath and seeing through Savathun's ploy and lopping off her head before she could sneakily stab him)
  • Attempted murder is a standard thing for the Hive and considered something of a greeting(he was even proud of his son for killing him), thus he's endured and beaten out a tonnof assassination attempts. This stuff's so ingrained into Hive culture that he considers the way his sisters try and kill him as an act of love, because if they didn't they'd pretty much be neglecting him by letting him get complacent. Instead, murder attempts kepe him on his toes, and each death is a learning experience in the end. Notably, Xivu Arath once exploded a moon on him, and from that he learned how to survice exploding planets.
  • Oryx gains the positive attributes of those he kills or Takes, including skill and minds. This was a large part of why he and his sisters decided to level grind. Consider just how many kills he's made over a billions long period when you rrmember that he's the kinda guy to exterinate a civilization with a raise of his hand.
  • Manipulating the Sword Logic takes doing, and with the exception of The Darkness itself and maybe Savathun he's unparalleled here. He used it to kill the at the time far stronger Akka, Worm of Secrets at a time that Akka should have been able to just deny his existence and should have beem stronger even in the Sword Logic.
  • His shades and echoes can fight on even terms with (though eventually losing to) teams of 3 guardians at a time. These guardians are ones that have already killed the likes of Crota and Skolas, both imoressivr on their own.
While it is important to remember that Oryx is also ungodly powerful due to well, power, the stuff with his sisters and skill stealing should earn him respectable placements for his tiers.

checks this thread

Who in Mortal Kombat beats Hajime in skill... like at all?

I don't remember Jack being more skilled than Hajime either, Hajime should be 2nd place of High 8-C.

On a similar cheaty note, Ashen One is essentially composite Dark Souls by the end of everything, and with it comes having all their souls and thus taking their attributes. This includes:

  • Every normal enemy in the game while most enemies are physically superior to you and don't fight fair ag all (abusing powerful positions, attacking all at once, ambushes, etc)
  • Extremely accomplished warrior bosses like the Boreal Valley pair, Gundyr, Pontiff Sullyvahn, Nameless King (a war god, no less), etc
  • Instant mastery of any new weapon they just pick up (lol 99 skill)
  • Same goes for magic, easily take to spells that bffle the most accomplished of magicians and can use all 4 types at once without a hassle
  • Lords of Cinder (Abyss Watchers are a literal army, Yhorm could break armies by himself and turn the tide of battles for his kingdom with nothing but a shield, Aldrich killed another god, and Lorian was a great champion in the past and badly wounded the Demon Princes (though lprians crippled when you fight him)
  • Defeated Gael when he couldn't control the Dark Soul. For reference, Gael was one of 4 characters even alive at the end of time, and he got there by waiting. That he had a nearly entirely complete dark soul means he had hunted down and killed every single human or anything sith some semblance of humanity, no small feat especially considering the slave knights are supposedly cannon fodder. Even pre dark soul, he could fight Friede and te Demon Princes sith you.
  • Finally, the Soul of Cinder. Why is this the most important? Well, SoC consists of everyone to ever link thr first flame, a manifestation of the fire itself. As shown by phase 2 it can replicate their techniques, and phase 1 has if use a really diverse arsenal of abilities. Well, included in these fire linkers are the protags of Dark Souls 1 and 2, who similarly can master any weapon spell or technique and can kill and absorb their entire games.

Alright so how does this seem?

Tier 4-B:

1. Oryx, the Taken King

2. Jin Mo-Ri

3. Warhammer Characters

4. Darth Sidious

5. Ashen One

Also you're right, nobody in MK should be close to Hajime

The Quantum Ma for all of his tiers from 4-B and on.

Dude has lived through every possible life a human being can (his tier 4 key), and has absorbed every single being in existence, including ones from realities with different laws of physics (tier 1 and 2 keys).

I can't backtrack the thread to the first one. Can someone please explain how this one differs from the "normal" top 5 per tier threads?

Emphasis isn't who wins the most fights or is generally more unbeatable taking into account all their powers.

This focuses on combat skill, whether it be its depth, completexity or broadness. Generally high intelligence for combat as well.
