TM29 (Star Wars vs 40K)

Genuinely can't tell if the Nihilus votes are jokes or not considering the character he's fighting can do pretty much the exact same thing.
 
So this is the result of "who canbeat this team (High 6-A edition)?", a.k.a. "find character that has a chanace against Nihilus".
 
Actually, I'm pretty sure this is the result of an offhand comment Azzy made.

Said comment was essentially "Huh, wonder why nobody's done this match before..."
 
It seems like they both have relatively similar psionic might but The Burning Princess has a few advantages. For one she's actually intelligent unlike Nihilus and for two she's has a lot more versatility with her powers like being able to create illusions and send people to the warp. Nihilus basically just relies on his ability to force drain everything which wouldn't work here.

Princess for those reasons.
 
Nihilus also has TK and mind manip strong enough to drive you insane by his mere pressence. And he can sense shatterpoints (If I remember correctly).
 
Even garbage tier psykers in 40k can drive those near them insane, same with Telekinesis. Neither of those are particularly impressive here. Absorbtion wont matter because Nihilus wont be able to Absorb The Burning Princess anyway because that's literally what psykers in 40k spend their whole lives preventing.
 
Sometimes absorption is soul/mind manipulation though like right now. It's not like Nihilus isn't using the force for it or something.
 
I not even sure how you draw a distinction between those two things. In 40k there certainly isn't a distinction if a psyker rips the life from something it's the same as soul/mind draining them. It seems extremely pedantic to say that The Burning Princess wouldn't be able to resist force drain despite having a resistance to practically identical powers.
