I'm leaning towards Demoman this round, but Orochi does have some advantages. I can see his evasion skills and stun abilities really playing a part in messing with Demoman's plays, but on the other hand, Demoman's magic spells are versatile enough to cause an even greater problem for Orochi. Plus, Demoman already has an answer for resisting his Fear Manip, while Orochi does not for any of Demo's tricks. The deciding factor for this for me is range, I think, but the profile doesn't state what the range is for Demo's spells. So I'll wait for an answer on that, but until then, I'm going with Demo.

Demoman's arsenal is significantly larger than Orochi, but Orochi has tricks up his sleeve, like better stamina, better senses, stealth, a few stuns and a damage boost that seems easy-enough to trigger. He also has faster reactions.
How does Orochi's perception manipulation work? Depending on how, I feel this could change things

I doubt that better senses and stealth would come into play here due to them having a direct line of site with each other.

Demo also has stuns and damage boost with spells.
He also has faster reactions.
Reaction speed is equalized here.

Looking back on it, nvm. Because Orochi's the faster character normally, his combat speed is reduced to Demoman's Subsonic/Subsonic+ combat speed. But because Orochi's reaction speed is the same as his combat speed (aka the multiplier is x1), his reaction is also reduced to Subsonic/Subsonic+.
tl;dr, they basically have the same speed for everything
My bad

Orochi's perception manipulation comes with his Kiai, which basically functions like a flashbang in-game stunning the enemy and leaving him blind for a second or two.

If Orochi is about 30 meters away from an opponent, I'd say he would break out storm rush to close the distance between him and Demoman. Storm Rush is an insanely strong move in-game, and I'm not actually sure how to interpret it in the context of VsBattles but basically it's impossible to dodge (having the 'undodgeable' property in-game), and Demoman would need to parry or block it successfully for it not to hit. Orochi can also suppress Demoman's fire first thing by calling an Arrow Storm to achieve closing in on him.

Unless I am missing something, I also do not see Orochi having much if any advantage given the AP difference.
"Undodgeables" are fine, but they do pretty little damage to people comparable to him, let alone far stronger.

I will vote for Demoman for now.
