More powerful magic doesn't directly imply that is power nullification more that he couldn't bypass the magic that gave the cake it's power what did it lower the scarlet king's durability to 3D levels

Something something SK has abstract existence and logically speaking unless the cake can bypass that and his immortality it shouldn’t have been able to crush it to death

That would be... mathematics+statistics reduction on a 1-A scale, which for all intents and purposes leads to the same outcome as powernull.
Also, SK, if the new crt is passed, will be 1-A, and even if his durability was 3-D, his ap, striking strength, and powers would all still be 1-A, and so power-null is the only logical conclusion. Also as Tllmbrg said, SK has type 1 AA, so durability is meaningless here.
