Thor has like, arguably better experience in fighting given the massive age gap. Also he has Mjolnir and Stormbreaker, two weapons Erza can't lift.

All it takes is for Thor to drop his hammer on Erza and executioner style chop her head off.

Yeah but Thor has shown the ability to throw Mjolnir in an arc around him to cover an area around him. He has no problem taking care of moving targets.

This is assuming that she would even let Thor place the hammer on her chest. She could even likely just destroy it given her AP is above Hela with her strongest armors.

What's stopping Erza from using wing blade armor and cutting Thor with his guard down via perception manip. A fast moving Axe and hammer is nothing new for Erza, given she can casually avoid danmaku back in x784, and x792 Erza skill stomps her 84 self with ease. Erza also has access to speed amps with her armors which can contend with time slow. Experience also doesn't give Thor much given she went head to head with Irene who has 400+ years of experience and did fairly well against her despite being at a massive stat disadvantage at the time.

You're forgetting that Thor's attacks do AoE. Without his weapons he can strike lightning just through physical contact alone. If Erza gets close, she gets blasted.
