Back then, I made a thread involving these two characters called "Ghost boi vs Train boi" but since no one cared for it and because I want these characters to get a respective record in their records, I'll be remaking the thread.

Rules: Both characters are in base form without any Pokemon (Allister), cargos and wishes (Thomas), speed is equalized, and they're 15 meters apart in a bridge so Allister can't get off the tracks. (meaning they're both 9-B, according to the wiki).

Thomas: 0

Allister: 1

Inconclusive: 0

If I'm getting this right: Allister scales to these guys who have calcs that are around 0.004 tons and 0.00055 tons respectively. Thomas, at top speed, is around 9-A - but he would hit Allister at a lower level of speed due to being 15 meters apart.

At that point it's whether or not you wanna consider the area that Thomas's kinetic energy would be dispersed over if he hits Allister. If Allister gets stuck under the tracks he's probably gonna get diced up badly. More often than not though, I think Allister would just be able to jump off the tracks and Thomas won't be able to do anything about it .

In other words: Allister FRA.

Thomas’s top speed is equalized to Allister’s movement/combat speed, Aleister has reactions 124713663x higher than his movement/combat speed (and reactions stay that much higher under speed equalization rules), Thomas has somewhat realistic acceleration so he won’t be at top speed within 15m, he needs to travel 15m, while Allister probably only needs to move less than 1. Unless Allister chooses to let Thomas kill him, there is no chance he doesn’t get off that track before he gets hit. This is a stomp.

For a Thomas match to be doable, you realistically need someone who either has lower reactions or combat speed, is immobile under easily achievable circumstances (weeping angels), or will actively throw themselves at avoidable attacks (jibanyan).
Even being too weak to hurt Thomas isn’t always a huge disadvantage, since if he runs out of fuel he’s incapped, and if he gets derailed (which wouldn’t require overpowering his KE if you hit him from the side or messed with the tracks) he’s incapped.
