Thematic matchups that would be/are stomps

I understand what your trying to say but i’m worried about my thread derailing from the original subject if it lasts longer than usual.
So you guys can have fun okay, that’s fine.

It’s just don’t make an entire page or, let’s say maybe, 50 replies worth of off-topic discussion that has nothing to do with the thread.
Said by someone who ruined one of the F&G Threads made by Random (or is it? I forgor)

Anyway, if the funny comments being out of the lines then cut it out, but for now? Let it rock

On a different note

Sora (Kingdom Hearts) vs Shirou Emiya (Fate)

Both are young boy's who seemingly at first had only middling talent (Sora had a subpar at best practice fighting style (Compared to other's in his series at least, anyways), Shirou had poor affinities with most spell's that a Magus would consider useful), but they both end up coming out of their experiences as some of the most insanely talented fighter's their Verses had seen, in part both due to hard work/training, and outside influence (Sora gaining the Keyblade in the peculiar situation he did, Shirou gaining access to UBW, either through fighting Archer (himself), or having his arm grafted onto his body).

Both are also known for having insane degree's of range with what weapons they use- Shirou pulling from a Reality Marble filled with numerous Replica's of famous Sword's and similar weapons (All of which he can use as well as the OG owner's could), and Sora being able to not only change the shape of his Keyblade, but being known for finding way's to creatively steal a foe's weapon and use it against them (Marluxia's RC and the Roxas fight come to mind, both instances where Sora will use his foe's weapon to hit them with a higher degree of skill than average).

And finally, both are generally "Heroes"- But of different varieties. Sora was a young Boy, thrusted into the role and forced to become a extraordinary hero when he was little more than a average Boy beforehand, made to fight borderline demonic and disturbing enemies, and originally his goal was slightly more selfish- He simply desired to find his friends again, though he eventually morphed to having a more general and selfless goal as he grew a bigger friend circle.

And inversely, Shirou Emiya, who after inheriting Kiritsugu's dream and some Survivor's Guilt, put himself willingly into the role of a Extraordinary Hero, even in places and time's he should not be involved in, and even when he's forced to use extremely middling and average abilities to try and fill in the extraordinary boots he set for himself to wear, someone who could be argued to have a most selfless dream for the most selfish reasons, and in one particular route (And another Piece of Media), he does even end up sacrificing the Selfless part of the dream, chasing something more selfish.

... With all that said though, this is a massive stomp when looking at the two's abilities and stat's
I bothered checking, man, this is a mismatch, at best they incon if we're flexible on alternate versions

Tatsumaki vs. Homelander
  • Gifted among their peers with impossibly incredible abilities (espers/supes)
  • Lone wolves that despise working with teammates
  • Raised in a lab and cultivated into super-powerful heroes by shadowy, power-hungry organizations
  • Rarely engage in street-level heroics, feeling inconvenienced by the notion
  • Obsessed with family (Tatsumaki with Fubuki, her younger sister; Homelander with Stillwell [S1] and his son [S2])
  • Short-tempered with fragile egos
  • Former fights for peace, latter fights for personal peace of mind

Joker vs Giorno Giovanna

1.They both are protagonists of the fifth installment of a series (jojo and persona)
2.both have soul manifestations in their abilities (stands and personas ofc)
3.both are what they are because of the crime of others. (Giorno from the beatings from his father and ren with the crime that was falsely put opon him.)
4.both rebelled against a corrupt society with higher power. (Giorno against Passione and Ren against the leaders of corporations)
5.both became leaders of their teams. (Team bucciarati and the Phantom Thieves.)
