Seeing the two seem to be on the same level, and potentially represent the same archetype (as it seems that Magic and D&D are part of the same multiverse in 5e), I guess this battle will end in a tie.

Ahh, right. Well, Asgorath is the local name the Dragon God Io has in the world of Abeir-Toril (I would even recommend to change the name of the page). So, Asgorath go by Io's feats. Among his feats are:

  • He created the multiverse, or at least it was him who gave the potential needed for the multiverse to be created.
  • The biggest dragon in any D&D world (that are the Quazar Dragons, big enough to swallow whole planets in a gulp) are as big as his scales.
  • Remembers all that exists, knows every magical spell D&D has to offer, and has at least one of every magic item that exist in the D&D multiverse.
  • Can predict the future.
  • Represents all that exist (encompasses all D&D alignments into its being)
  • Exist in the time outside time.
  • Some believe some believe Io is the creator of the Lady of Pain (he hatched her from a dabus egg, according to some theory).

Asgorath can predict all that the Ur-Dragon can do, he can counter it with any number of the spells he understands (assuming he can see the future he could create and use any spell created in D&D's infinite timelines, meaning essentially any magical effect can be used), and he birthed many 2-A beings.

Asgorath has my vote here.
