I can give Sonic a pass (as much as I hate to do so), Silver a pass (not has hard ), but even as a person who's not a super big Shadow fan, calling him a knockoff is blasphemy I tell you! Knuckles is more like Vegeta than Shadow by a thousand miles. Shadow is MAYBE the equivalent to the Piccolo of the universe.

In my ideal world none of them would be called ripoffs

I understand, the sacrifice is worth it for the title. Just waiting for the day we get a thread and it's called the Vegeta imposter and he's fighting Knuckles instead of Chadow.
