A discussion thread relating to the alternate history analog horror series The Monument Mythos.
 
I think this verse could fit on VBW, some of the characters can destroy trees with a sword (FREEDOM) and smash humans like a pile of clothes.

The Special Tree should have decent durability due to being chopped by a axe and not being affected in the slightest and being exploded with no signs of damage.

There's a couple of calcs that one can make for the Freedom statue. Alcatraz, Canal Crab and the Sphinx can have tiers based on their size too.

From what i think some of them could be 9-B tier like Freedom who can tear the skin off humans and possibly has the intelligence of it's creator while also having limited reality warping with her sword.

While the others could be around High 8-C or 9-A or a different tier.

From what i saw, it's a multi-being of dead people that was killed, so that would grant it type 1 immortality and being a non-corporeal entity due to phasing through solid objects.
 
So apparently, FREEDOMFALLER eventually met the angel and possibly fought against it, but it was unknown who won.
 
I retwatched the entire series and wrote a summary of events.

MONUMENT MYTHOS REWATCH

SEASON ONE

LIBERTYLURKER

  • Honestly doesn't have much, just introduces the basic concept of monuments housing monsters that need to be regularly fed people to not break free.
  • The Statue of Liberty's pedestal is much bigger than the statue itself because it houses an unknown creature, and they fed immigrants into it to keep it satiated.
  • This creatured, dubbed the "Liberty Lurker", is first seen emerging from the statue in 1985.

LINCOLNLOOKER

  • The concept of Lincoln Lookers is confirmed to be ADA Propaganda and thus not real, so Maya's testimony is to be suspected.
  • Maya Arnoldson and Leonard Morlin's testimonies are fabricated by the ADA, designed to portray the US Government as senselessly cruel.
  • However, Howard Melrose's recordings are likely legitimate, meaning that there is probably something being kept inside the Lincoln Monument, but it isn't a Lincoln Looker.

RUSHMOREREVENGE

  • Begins with the ADA vandalizing Mount Rushmore in 2003.
  • Mass executions do happen across monuments in the entire United States, that much is true.
  • However, thr phrase "The souls of Lincoln will be freed", which is likely in reference to Lincoln Lookers, is bullshit.
  • They claim that they will "Introduce infection next week", which as we'll see was likely done by the Angel - Who was still working with the ADA at the time.
  • The "Infection" distorts the faces of Mount Rushmore and sprouts what look to be Special Trees on top of them.
  • Apparently pounding Baby Powder on the heads every night helps contain the "Infection".

ALCATRAZATTACK

  • This is the big one. The Alcatraz Prison island is actually a giant unicelular organism (A Prison Cell, get it).
  • Alcatraz moves very slowly, and the United States predicted that it would reach the California shore by 2000 and slowly consume San Francisco over the next several decades.
  • In response to that, thye tried to kill Alcatraz with large scale Radiation Therapy.
  • It didn't work, instead it only mutated Alcatraz, allowing it to reproduce and split itself in a process called "Alcatrazosis".
  • as of 2020, the Alcatraz Zone extends to West Texas.
  • The "2003 Alcatraz Attack" was likely performed by the Angel / The ADA, as we'll see later.

AIRFORCEONEANGEL

  • One of the most important videos, at it partially shows what the Angel and the ADA did in 2003.
  • The Angel pilots Air Force One, starting in Washington, then moving to Mount Rushmore, then to the Golden Gate Bridge (Alcatraz), and then finally back to New York (Where the Liberty Lurker is).
  • It drops "packages" along the way, which are probably the thing which initiates "The Infection" that the ADA was talking about.
  • The Angel was able to enter Air Force One and bypass its security mechanisms without damaging it, presumably because it isn't an entirely physical being.
  • Air Force One was shot down when it re-entered the Washington Airspace, but of course the Angel survived the explosion.

DEANDEMOCRACY

  • Another important video, as it introduces us to the figure of President James Dean and the ADA (Then known as the Anti-Dean Association).
  • President Dean is, apparently, just an ordinary man with unbelievable luck and charisma by his side, and not a Demon like the ADA claimed he was.
  • James Dean didn't die in his Car Crash in the 50s, but lived on and ran for president in 1968, winning by a landslide.
  • Martin Luther King and John F. Kennedy survived their assassination attempts as well.

WASHINGTONWORMHOLE

  • An essential video, as it introduces us to the concept of the Special Trees, the primary antagonistic force in the series.
  • As implied by the poem, the Special Tree cannot be cut, and its song is devastating.
  • The Washington Monument was built to contain the Special Tree's growth.
  • From 1910 to 1971, 20 individuals disappear while visiting the Washington Monument, all of them given as sacrifices to the Special Tree.
  • As shown in the leaked video, the people who enter the Washington Monument are rendered unconscious by the Special Tree's music, and then dropped down from the elevators so they'll painlessly die - Or so it would seem, more on that later.
  • In 2003, thanks to the ADA's Infection, the Special Tree inside the Washington Monument breaks free and shoots out its lightning.
  • Only 19 of the 20 Washington Absentees are found at the base of the monument.
  • According to the video description, the 20th Washington Absentee "has been found". More on him later.

DELAWAREDOUBLE

  • One of the videos with the least amount of context given to it. It details the story of two fisherman who happened to find the perfectly preserved frozen body of George Washington inside the Delaware River.
  • They theorize that the body they found is the true George Washington and that the Washington who we know as the US President was a body double.
  • The Delaware River Journal is terminated the day after this broadcast.

ROCKEFELLERTREETRAGEDY

  • The longest video so far, and the first one in which a cohesive story starts to form.
  • In it, John D. Rockefeller encounters a Special Tree in the Babylon Forest, and immediately becomes fixated by it, wanting to use it as a Christmas Tree.
  • The Special Tree is seemingly indestructible, as neither lumberjacks chopping at it all night long nor 100 sticks of dynamite exploding around it can damage it.
  • It takes the diggers three whole years to dig the tree out of the ground, but it can be done.
  • They hang the Special Tree on the Rockefeller Center and start adorning it with decoration. Virginia, a little girl, climbs onto the tree along with her 10 friends to hang a star on top of it.
  • But as soon as they put the star on top, the Special Tree arches and shoots its lightning.
  • Then Virginia wakes up in another dimension, a great field of singing Special Trees, and there a man walks up to her and says "The Trees are not trees".
  • Then Virginia and her friends wake up on the Rockefeller Center with the tree having vanished.
  • As it turns out they were transported from our universe (Dubbed the Nixonverse by fans) to the Monument Mythos universe (Dubbed by the Deanverse) and replaced with their alternate universe doubles. As the two realities are slightly different, their parents no longer recognize them and they have different memories.
  • Virginia and the kids also only recognize Rockefeller as an Oil Tycoon, and not as the former President of the United States.
  • And also their bodies' insides are in reverse.
  • Rockefeller's son claims that the Special Tree has continued to appear in the Plaza on many occasions, and that it takes a humanoid form when it does so.
    We can briefly see what looks like the man-shaped Tree shooting what appears to be a lightning of some sort in the end.

CANYONCROWN

  • A small and simple video after the last one, it introduces us to MAIZE and their technology.
  • We also see the two Arnoldson children traveling to the Grand Canyon with their father to look for his sister, Maya.
  • There, they learn that Maya transformed into what is known as a Canyonggalan or a Canyon Crown, which is a giant floating meat head that needs to use vinegar to shrink itself back into its body.
  • There are several Canyon Crowns living in the Grand Canyon. Their decapitated bodies can still walk around normally, while their giant decapitated heads fly around.

FREEDOMFALLER

  • This video details the construction of the Freedom Statue that hangs atop the Capitol Building in Washington.
  • Freedom was built by Italian sculptor Thomas Crawford after a commission. One day Thomas disappears after staying in his office, and his wife goes to find him there and returns home traumatized. She kept yelling "He has his eyes!".
  • Thomas' daughter, Nina, runs to the Monarca Ship where Freedom is being transported, and hides in a box with the statue. She can feel his spirit inside the statue.
  • The Freedom statue escapes the ship as they take a stop in Gibraltar, carrying Nina with it and cutting hundreds of trees through the forest with its sword.
  • Freedom dashed up the "Rock" mountain with tremendous force, enough to scare the locals who called the police for help.
  • Freedom cut hundreds of trees and caused several landslides, cutting them with tremendous speed at a perfectly straight trail. The trees were "warm" to the touch due to Freedom's extreme speed, and several trees had even caught fire from the speed of the cut.
  • At the top of the mountain they find Freedom inside a cavern, surrounded by Nina's splayed remains, while her skin was stretched out over Freedom's plaster in an attempt to cover its body.
  • Freedom then apparently slaughter the men who found her and wears their skins as well, but is then safely transported to the United States.
  • There, they rip her skin and put her on top of the Capitol Building, where she stands motionless.
  • Then the ADA storms the U.S. Capitol during a riot, and Freedom wakes up as it is shot down. It then proceeds to go on a rampage on the ADA protestors.

SEASON 2

MAIZEMOVIEMAKER

  • This video details the story of Maize, how they developed the first personal computers and spread across the United States along the 60s and 70s.
  • However, after a serious incident, all personal computers in the United States were confiscated by the US Government, as they posed a threat to national security.
  • We learn that Maize (Which became part of the Department of Technology during the Dean Administration) collaborated with the Department of Defense in what is called "Project Horned Serpent".
  • It is here we also get an official classification for the monstrous creatures lurking beneath the Monuments: The True Forces of Mass Destruction (TFMDs).
  • Coincidentally, all Maize Manufacturing Plants across the United States correspond with the undulating image of the Horned Serpent.
  • In 1980, Maize is attacked by an entity believed to be the Horned Serpent, whose body is comprised of countless protruding Special Trees. This is the incident that convinces the US Government to recall all personal computers from the country.
  • Then we see a video recorded by a member of the ADA showing an abandoned Maize Factory and how it extends into caves below the Earth.
  • The caves are humid and devoid of life, and the air is charged with electricity.
  • After touching the electrified walls, the person filming the video is attacked by a blurred creature discharging electricity - A piece of the Horned Serpent.
  • "Do not visit these sites, they haven't been fed in years."

SUEZCANALCRAB

  • This is one of the most self-contained videos in the channel, and one of the funniest too.
  • Much like in real life, the container ship Ever Given gets stuck in the Suez Canal, but unlike in real life it is unable to be disloged by ordinary means.
  • After two weeks, the United States decides announces a nuclear solution to the problem, aiming to dislodge the Ever Given by nuking the Suez Canal.
  • The nuke is successful, but the Suez Canal seemingly grows legs and starts walking through the Egyptian desert.
  • The "Suez Canal Crab", as it comes to be known, is not classified as a TFMD and the UN announces that it won't attack it, as its cargo is too precious to be destroyed.
  • The Suez Canal Crab makes it to Cairo, and it crashes into the Cairo Tower. What follows is a slaughter of inhumane proportions as hundreds of tourists are crushed to death by the collapsing tower and falling containers.
  • Then, with encouragement from the ADA - Now known as the Anti-Device Association - thousands of Americans fly to Cairo to grab the goods inside the containers.
  • What follows is an even bigger massacre that kills thousands, as the area around the fallen Suez Canal Crab is isolated and the people inside aren't allowed to escape.
  • The few Americans that survive begin to worship the Suez Canal Crab, and create the "Church of the Evergiven".

FALLENFATHER

  • A mercifully short video after the last two, continuing the story of CANYONCROWN.
  • We learn that the Arnoldson parent, Nathaniel Arnoldson, died during his visit to the Grand Canyon, and only his two children survived.
  • Then, as it turns out, we learn that their father has also been turned into a Canyon Crown and that it seemingly followed them home.

DEANDISASTER

  • A continuation of Dean Democracy, detailing one of the largest scale attacks ever launched by the ADA.
  • The ADA is able to hack into hundreds of thousands of Air Raid Sirens all throughout the United States, and play sounds at such obscenely high volumes that it not only causes permanent deafness, but in many cases, severe physical deformities and even death.
  • President James Dean refuses to hide in a bunker during the terrorist attack, and organizes the government and the military to disable the Sirens, even disabling one himself near the White House - though he is disfigured and deaf by the effort.
  • We also see from an X-Ray that James Dean's internal organs are reversed, much like Virginia's. This is never elaborated on.
  • Millions are affected by the blaring of the sirens across America and rendered fully deaf, and thousands upon thousands die.
  • During an official statement the following day, James Dean officially classifies the ADA as a Domestic Terrorist Organization, and encourages the American people to identify ADA Members and bring them to the authorities by themselves.
  • In the following weeks, hundreds of thousands of ADA Members and ADA Sympathizers are imprisoned and moved into "Correctional Facilities" located near National Monuments and Landmarks.
  • After a few weeks, most Anti-Deaners would return with improved personalities and no feelings of opposition towards President Dean, though occasionally with slightly altered memories - Basically, they were fed to the Special Trees inside the monuments and swapped with nearly-identical alternate universe versions of themselves.
  • After receiving a state-of-the-art hearing implant from Maize Machines, James Dean is compelled to create the Department of Technology, so that every American affected by the ADA Disaster could regain their hearing.
  • The project succeeds flawlessly, the Department of Technology is founded, and by Independence Day, 1969, deafness has been completely eradicated across America.
  • Also androids exist.

GIZAGUARDIAN

  • This is the first video dealing with the "Starry Sphinx", a phenomenom which we later learn was a conspiracy theory fabricated by the ADA.
  • However, unlike with the Lincoln Lookers, it appears that the Starry Sphinx is at least partially legitimate, as we'll soon see.
  • The Starry Sphinx is caught on live television and shown on Maize News Network (MNN). It is a collection of glowing floating "stars" that organize themselves into the shape of the Sphinx.
  • However, immediately after what appear to be Special Trees protrude from the ground and then a whole ground of them form arcs, unleashing lightning and cutting the transmission.
  • Then we get a video detailing something known as "Project Giza Guardian".
  • We learn of the formation of a special glass called "Giza Glass", which is created whenever under a special lightning falls onto the desert sand.
  • This lightning only occurs during the alignment of certain constellations, and for centuries only secluded Bedouin Tribes knew about it.
  • In 1880, a British Expedition is able to accurately predict the appearance of Giza Glass, and with help from the military they manage to secure the location before the Bedouins arrive.
  • During the examinations, the leader of the expedition, Flinders Petrie, accidentally slips and falls onto a sheet of Giza Glass, decapitating himself in the process.
  • However, Petrie turns out to be completely fine, as no blood is spilled, he can still control his headless body, and his decapitated head can now float around.
  • This turns out to be short-lived, however, as Petrie's head begins to swell and discolor, turning him into what will later be known as a "Canyon Crowns".
  • A collection of the glass collected by the Petrie Expediction is bought by American President John D. Rockefeller, and fragments of the glass are polished and sharpened into fine blades.
  • These blades are then given to "unusually tall Greco-Egyptian Swordsmen" (Depicted as giant statues) who are asigned to the Grand Canyon to guard restricted areas.
  • The Giza Guardians remain in service for several decades, and all trespassers who are decapitated by the Guardians are provided a lifetime's worth of a special vinegar that could contain the swelling of their heads.
  • Then we learn more about the construction of the Freedom Statue through a testimony from Louisa Crawford, Thomas Crawford's wife.
  • We learn that Thomas Crawford used Giza Glass to sculp Freedom's sword, and accidentally cut his own finger with it, and was amazed when he could still move his severed finger.
  • Over the following weeks, Thomas becomes obsessed with the statue and starts cutting more and more of himself, and eventually puts his entire chopped body inside Freedom's plaster.
  • Nina is also implied to have been taken inside the statue by Freedom, with only her splayed skin remaining outside.
  • Both Thomas and Nina merge with Freedom, becoming a sort of collective entity. Despite having both Thomas and Nina as part of itself, Freedom only exists for murder and warfare - As we can see when it slaughtered hundreds of ADA members during the Capitol Riot.
  • After the riot, President Dean transfers Freedom to the Grand Canyon, where it will protect restricted areas and decapitate tresspassers.
  • Then we see an audio that was leaked by journalist Howard Melrose, where we can hear the last words of Maya Arnoldson before she is decapitated by Freedom.

PYRAMIDPLASM (Bonus Video)

  • This video was deleted by Alex Kansas, and is no longer canon. However, aspects of it were still used in later videos.
  • The video explains that on 1918, a German airship was scheduled to fly over the Great Pyramid of Giza to intimidate the Allied powers.
  • However, seventeen American soldiers were able to destroy the airship through the use of a superweapon installed on top of the pyramid, albeit at the cost of their own lives.
  • The leader of the seventeen soldiers was called Allan D. Arnoldson, and we see a letter from an US official written to his wife.
  • After that we cut to footage of the present day, where someone is holding the old, worn out letter in their hands, and hiding from someone inside a locked room, before they are found and the footage cuts off.
  • This is probably why this video was deleted and is no longer canon. What was most likely going on at the end is that the person was hiding from the Angel, who hunted them down and killed them.
  • These actions don't match well with the Angel's attitude in later videos, as they are neutral and just want to be left alone.

ROCKEFELLERREVELATION

  • John D. Rockefeller conspired with the Germans during WW1, assisting in the development of the greatest and most advanced airships at the time.
  • As it turns out, the Airships are kept floating not through hot air, but by an abundance of dozens of Canyon Crowns stuffed inside it.
  • The Canyon Crowns were used as mindless slave labor during WW1. John D. Rockefeller was very enthusiastic about the new workforce.
  • We see a design of the Anti-Airship Death Ray installed on the Great Pyramid of Giza. Oddly enough, it contains a Lamp and inside the Lamp what looks like a snake skull.
  • This is never explained or elaborated on, but it's clear that the Death Ray's power comes from the Special Trees and by extension the Horned Serpent.
  • Rockefeller's secret dealings in WW1 are eventually made public, and the former President goes into reclusion for his own safety.
  • We see a diagram of what happened with the seventeen soldiers who fired the Death Ray. First they were disintegrated and divided into microscopic parts, but they remain semi-conscious until fusing together into a more stable being, which is the Angel.
  • Then they fly back to the United States and attack Rockefeller's bunker, melting its doors with "the most powerful heat ray ever built", and assassinating him.
  • Later it's discovered that the Angel had previously been seem in both the 19th century photo of the Special Tree AND in the Rockefeller Plaza Christmas many years earlier.
  • This means that the Angel can travel through time, but the ramifications of this ability are never elaborated on.

STARRYSPHINX

  • Another video that is full of ADA propaganda. All of the Alien Conspiracy things are here.
  • It starts with a video of a TFMD (Namely, the Sphinx) on Mars. Later we see the Sphinx leaving Mars and landing on Earth.
  • Then we get an interview clip with Leonard Morlin, where he explains what's going on with the Pyramids. As it turns out, he was reading from an ADA script.
  • He explains that the Pyramids were classified as TFMDs by the US Government, and that they initiated an excavation around them. This is likely a legitimate fact and not propaganda.
  • He says that Global Warming and Humanity As A Whole were also classified as TFMDs during the Dean Administration. Honestly can't say I disagree.
  • He says that the Ancient Egyptians employed servantas called "Guardians" who were equipped with fine Giza Glass blades, and that their only job was to hack at the Special Trees all day and night to slow down their growth.
  • He also says that a method of actually cutting down a Special Tree wasn't discovered until 1945, with the creation of the Atomic Bomb.
  • The Guardians probably actually existed, as the US Government ends up employing new "Giza Guardians" to defend the Grand Canyon.
  • We see a video of the Sphinx being shot as it is flying down to the Earth. This appears to be legitimate footage as it is quite similar to the footage of Air Force One being shot down.
  • Leonard Morlin explains that the Pyramids are not Pyramids at all, but Towers which extend infinitely and cannot be excavated. He claims that the Pyramids exist to contain Special Trees inside them.
  • The Pyramids probably do indeed contain Special Trees inside them, but it is unlikely that they literally extend down infinitely. This is a case of the ADA exaggerating stuff.
  • Then we see a video of the "False Children" landing and arranging themselves into the Starry Sphinx. Both the False Children and the Starry Sphinx exist, but they are now alien in nature, the False Children are a piece of technology created by the US Government.
  • We then see a video of the Sphinx moving. The caption describes it as a "Mothership" and claims that the Starry Sphinx was meant to distract onlookers. This is highly unlikely.
  • Then we see a video of the Great Pyramid of Giza slowly rising from the ground. No elaboration of what it means.
  • Following that, we see that other "Pyramids" (Namely the Washington Monument) are beginning to awaken and duplicate themselves.
  • Finally, the video ends with a diagram showing that there is only one Sphinx surrounded by hundreds of Pyramids, with no elaboration of what it means.
  • Overall almost everything in this video beyond the existence of the Guardians and the Pyramids containing Special Trees is biased or outright fabricated information.

WASHINGTONWONDERLAND

  • This video is the testimony of Virginia, who is now an adult, detailing the full events of the Rockefeller Tree Tragedy.
  • We also learn that Virginia's full name is Virginia Fate Arnoldson, and that the Arnoldson family are all her descendants.
  • Virginia explains that after the Tree took her in, she woke up in a "Field of Special Trees" that she refers to as Wonderland.
  • The Special Trees inside Wonderland stretch up to the sky, wherein their points touch the point of upside-down Trees which extend until the base of their trunks touch the trunk of an upright Tree, and so on and so on.
  • The ground in Wonderland isn't ground at all, but a cloud floating dust that smells like Baby Powder. And below the layer of dust there is another infinite regression of upside-down and upright special trees, all with their own layer of dust "ground".
  • Periodically, explosions of light happen inside Wonderland, and hundreds of people come running out. Presumably these are people being fed to the Special Trees. It's there that Virginia meets the man who says "The Trees are not trees."
  • They stayed together in Wonderland for years, always dealing with flashes that jumped then through time and disorientated them.
  • There are also "Climbers", people who try to climb the Special Trees and end up both horrendously stretched and burnt by the flashing electricity.
  • Virginia names her friend "Everett", and they stay together for what feels like hundreds of years until she is finally transported back to the surface world.
  • Virginia meets the Tree in the Rockefeller Plaza again when she is 18 years old, and she tries to talk to it for answers. Notably, the Tree has a humanoid shape.
  • The Tree says that she can go back home if she is willing to sacrifice another life for her own, and tells her to come back in 3 years.
  • Virginia meets Leonard Morlin and the two of them fall in love and eventually get married and have a child, a boy named Everett.
  • Virginia meets with the trees again when she is nine months pregnant with Everett. The tree puts "knowledge in her head", and Virginia walks for four days towards the Washington Monument.
  • The Washington Monument's music leaves Virginia in a trance, and she is not bothered by the bodies all around her when she steps inside. She falls from the top of elevator and hits the ground, but instead of dying she "keeps drifting down".
  • She falls through the Earth until she reaches the other side and begins to "fall up", until returning to her own body.
  • But it's no longer the same body as before, because she is no longer pregnant with Everett.
  • Virginia remains broken on the ground with the others, bleeding forever but kept alive through the music of the Tree.
  • Then one day the music grows and the light flashes the loudest, and Virginia finds herself outside the Washington Monument, only there is a fied of Special Trees all around her and the others. "Wonderland had risen".
  • This is likely what the footage of the numerous Washington Monuments shown in STARRYSPHINX actually means.
  • Virginia receives a lobotomy and never speaks again. Her unborn son, Everett is the 20th Washington Absentee.
  • Everett is described as a "humanoid creature" that inhabits the forests of the Washington Zone.

AIRFORCEONEFALLENANGEL

  • We see a map of the new United States as of 2003, now legally known as the United Zones of America: Namely, the Alcatraz Zone, the Rushmore Zone and the Washington Zone.
  • The 2003 attack by the ADA greatly deformed the United States, with the Washington Zone in particular stretching up North, most likely because of the Horned Serpent.
  • Then we get a message from an ADA Splinter Group - The Advocates for the Division of America, who are even more insane than their predecessors.
  • They claim that America is a shell for the "True Ruler beneath our feet", and that the "Underground God" must leave - But to do that, the World Egg (The Earth) must be cracked.
  • They intend to use their "Fallen Angel" to divide the land into "A state for each individual", who they found on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, burnt and broken from the blast.
  • They claim that once he is fixed, he will be a "Walking Atom Bomb" that will "evict" the Horned Serpent.

LIBERTYLURKERS

  • The video begins with a speech from Ferdinand de Lesseps, the founder of the Suez Canal. He claims that the speech is a forged script. He claims that he built the canal because "The Man Beneath America" told him to in his dreams.
  • Then we see an animation titled "The Sinking Man and the Forbidden Fruit", where George Washington attempts to cut down an Apple Tree, but sinks beneath the Earth into Wonderland. And then he gets horribly stretched like the aformentioned Climbers.
  • Finally, we get an authentic Libertylurker Interview with the architect who built the Statue of Liberty, where he explains the truth behind its construction.
  • He explains that he designed an abattoir just for "him", and that he once used to be a normal man just like us. He is called the "Horned Serpent", or Hanodaganears - The Devourer of Villages - the name given to George Washington by the Iroquois tribe.
  • This is no coincidence. The Liberty Lurker is actually just the tip of the Horned Serpent, who is none other than George Washington himself.
  • After the Liberty Lurker escapes from the Statue of Liberty, "Cthonaut" (Underworld Sailors), plunge into the area beneath the pedestal and manage to step inside the "Horned Serpent Metastructure", colloquially known as Wonderland.
  • There are many Lurkers, who are actually disfigured humans trying to climb out of Wonderland, but the Liberty Lurker is special as it is the Horned Serpent itself, presumably created by the Special Trees in Wonderland so that they may breach into the surface world wholesale.

ALCATRAZAPOCALYPSE

  • The final Monument Mythos published so far, and the end of Season 2. This video wraps up pretty much everything.
  • We learn that Doctor Disturbing, the horror youtuber who was uploading videos on different monuments and events, was actually a shared account owned by Lauren and Quinn Arnoldson, who were killed in the Grand Canyon while riding atop two Canyon Crowns - Presumably their own father Nathaniel and his sister Maya.
  • Doctor Disturbing's last video shows their father's three favorite paintings: The Apotheosis of Washington by Constantino Brumidi, a real world painting that depicts George Washington as a God in Mount Olympus, "Road to Happiness" by James Dean, which depicts Wonderland, and "Together" by Virginia Arnoldson.
  • Then we watch the last broadcast of the New Delaware Journal, where Leonard Morlin reveals that he was kept imprisoned by the Anti-Device Association for years, and the he was forced to read their scripts to give legitimacy to their own conspiracy theories, and that is how they got his "testimony" on Lincoln Lookers and the Starry Sphinx.
  • Then Leonard talks about how three nights before his "death", Alcatraz went silent and seemingly disappeared. Leonard claims that Alcatraz didn't disappear at all, but rather expanded at an imperceptibly fast rate, mimicking the surrounding environment on a subatomic level, the entire United States and its citizens. "The United States is the Ship of Theseus."
  • Revolted by this discovery, Leonard (Who is actually a copy of Leonard created by Alcatraz) decides to immolate himself rather than to live as a copy of himself.
  • We then get a message claiming that "Cthonaut A." will receive data and convey it to us in "theatrical manner", arriving in our world (The Nixonverse) in 10/01/16 after their world's (The Deanverse) apocalypse in 02/22/22.
  • "Cthonaut A." is Alex Kansas, and the two dates correspond with the creation of his Youtube Channel and the release date of ALCATRAZAPOCALYPSE.
  • Then we read "The Angel's Ultimatum", where we learn that after the Division of 2003, they concluded that the Advocates were deranged and that they were all reduced to ashes. The Angel asks that they be left alone.
  • The United States, of course, didn't leave them alone, and after nearly 20 years it discovers the Angel's location, finding them at Babylon Forest.
  • The United States Government launches "Operation Thunderbird", an attempt to kill the Angel.
  • They lure Freedom in the Grand Canyon with two faceless androids, then use the False Children (Which are small replicas of the Special Trees) to release energy in the form of an IPC (Invisible Particle Cloud) known as Giza Gas.
  • The Giza Gas solidifies into a pyramid around Freedom, and a Military Airplane transports her to Babylon, where the container's controlled deterioration allows her to break free.
  • Freedom encounters the Angel. Freedom runs towards the Angel with her Giza Glass sword. The Angel fires their Death Ray. Fight.
  • The US Government hoped that their battle would bring about their "Mutual Assured Destruction", but it did something far worse.
  • Freedom and the Angel's battle awakens the Horned Serpent, who breaks free from its underground prison and BLOWS UP THE EARTH. We see a shot of the Horned Serpent's true size from space, and it's larger than our planet.
  • As Earth is destroyed by the Horned Serpent, Wonderland itself begins to consume reality, and the whole universe ends as space folds in on itself.
  • This event is known as "The Great Division", and the survivors of the Great Division are called Corner Folk.

Yeah, I think that for the Horned Serpent, it should get 5-B, 3-A with Wonderland due to it destroying the earth before turning the entire universe into Wonderland.

Now for Alcatraz, I think it should be Low 7-C | 6-B with the Key being: ALCATRAZATTACK | ALCATRAZAPOCALYPSE (they are two VERY different points in time)

For Alcatraz, I calculated the mass of Alcatraz to be 3,149,980,928.64 kg (it's area is about 22 acres, and I'm assuming the depth to be 43 ft, or 13.1 m). I'm going to calc based on size. Assuming it's size roughly translates to it's tier and we know the size, we should be able to compare it to a tier and to something nearby, San Francisco. I did some digging and according to Tom Parsons, San Francisco has about a mass of 1.6 Trillion Kilograms. Making a ratio between the masses, the ratio is 1.969 x 10^-3. Assuming the energy ratio is the same and San Francisco is on the low-end for Small City level, the energy of Alcatraz is 9.478 x 10^12 J, or 2.265 Kilotons of TNT. This is within Low 7-C, or Small Town level.

Ironically, ALCATRAZAPOCALYPSE is easier to scale. In three days, Alcatraz apparently replaced the entire country down to the subatomic level. According to Leonard W Morlin, Alcatraz had "copied us all overnight" and replaced "every particle of this country and its citizens." This should firmly make it country level. There is some speculation that it replaced birth North and South America, but that is never stated or even really implied, so I think Country level (Tier 6-B) is the most appropriate place.

So, that's my take on the power scaling of Alcatraz and the Horned Serpent. Hope it works for their verses.
 
I think FREEDOMFALLER should be at least 9-C or 9-B due to cutting trees with ease that causes it to feel warm to the touch and causes several forest fires, and being able to tear the skin off of human beings.

FREEDOMFALLER should have pain resistance as well due to being a literal supernatural statue.
 
So the house is indeed living and can apparently "walk" by taking long strides backwards.

It hasn't gotten a scratch in over 50 years and whatever it does to humans, it causes them to have no face.
 
I don't know what tier the "House" would be, it hasn't shown any feats as of now.
 
From what I remember, The House was confirmed to be separate from the Monument Mythos universe. However, if we want to include it, I think that we should rename the verse the Alex Kansas Series, and have separate profiles for the Monument Mythos and then other things like The House or The Crescent King.

There's little doubt that he's connected to them now in some way. We were shown one of the old Crescent King videos of Mickey Mouse. And in the original deleted Crescent King video, he falls in the ocean and the detective says people have been disappearing in the ocean.

Although I don't see the thematic connection between him and the Houses, so they might be antagonistic entities towards him. Because in the original video the Crescent King was preparing a vessel on Earth for himself for some unknown reason.
 
I don't know if The Horned Serpent is a higher-dimensional being, seeing how it is literally George Washington but he turned into some giant snake creature.

and The Horned Serpent should be Immortal.

I don't think the Horned Serpent is higher dimensional, but does act as a nexus for travel between alternate universes, which would include things like Portal Creation, Pocket Reality Manipulation, and Dimensional Travel
Anyway, I think the Horned Serpent also has Immortality (Type 1 and maybe 5), Self-Sustenance (1, 2, and 3), and Avatar Creation via Special Trees and the Walking One). I'm pretty sure there's more, but I'll look into it later.

Do you think The Horned Serpent has flight also?
 
Likely only comparable in hax due to their giza glass blades. There hasn't been enough focus on them to gague whether they would match in stats or not.

Also, curious about the traveling speed of the Angel's flight from Egypt to America. And Freedom's speed should be comparable to the Angel's if she's able to react to their blasts
 
I mean i think Freedom is hypersonic due to being so fast that she causes several forest fires.
