"Has channeled the mass of entire universes"

First off, that is 3-A. Second, source?

"Merged with abstract entities"

That does not mean he fights as strong as them.

"And defeated the in betweener"

First of, Marvel powerscaling rules. Second off, the inbetweener's own page says at his weakest even Thor has beaten him.

Not sure about the first and the third points. But the second one isn't true. Fusing with a being gives you access to their complete power, even if you are jobbing.

Well, Doctor Strange helped the hero Gravity channel the mass of the entire Marvel universe, but I agree that it is a 3-A feat.

However, being able to merge with Death or Eternity does give him access to their power, he has repeatedly held his own against Dormammu, the In-Betweener and similar entities, and his entire deal was that he channeled the power of such "principalities", so I think that we can allow some power-scaling due to consistency in this case.

Yes, but that would be a seperate key for being merged with eternity.

@Antvasima

Then the explanaiton should be "he can repeatedly hold his own against Dormaru"

Well, maybe the explanation should be adjusted a bit. I am just extremely mentally exhausted nowadays.

That would be fine, thank you.

That is true, but he had enough of them to be rated at that level. We do not rate the Hulk and Thor as Building level either.

Well, Marvel is insanely inconsistent, but we do as best we can to gauge the characters anyway.

Well, the authors are explicitly against anything remotely resembling consistency. Stan Lee has repeatedly stated that whoever the author wants to win, wins, and that's that.

Yeah, Juggernaut has ranged from getting stuck in cement to being unable to be killed by eternity, Strange has universal level+ high end and Solar system level low end, but since he's a glass cannon Low 2-C should be a good rating.

Should we have a seperate key for him without equipment?

Nah. I think that his tier is fine, and that we can probably close this.

We have almost no basis for it. Also, the main part of his "equipment" are the entities whose power he channels.

I will close this thread then.
