The Elder Scrolls General Discussion Thread

he wanted to make the new lore from ESO fit into the narrative of the trilogy hence we are going through some insane stuff in this one like going to atmora full scale (the numidium is there), the sload capital city and a couple of oblivion realms, its gonna be lit
And we'll be waiting for awhile I can already tell
same here the guy has far more respect and understanding of the lore than the current devs do which says something
A far cry from Emil "I've written more books than I've read" Pagliarulo.
yeeeaaah....
I would be shocked if TESVI even matches vanilla Skyrim for quality, depth, and reliability. Let alone be par with Oblivion or Morrowind.

actually no he said that it'd be out around this month maybe the next, now a fully completed voiced version? that is eons away.

dude, it won't, looking at starfield all we will get is a butchered corpse of Elder scrolls posing as a game.

There's something bugging me... shouldn't Zurin Arctus have profile? Or should be a Talos key?
ehhhh.... I honestly think we need to seperate the whole deal that is talos from tiber septim and make a prof for each of the shezzarines that compose talos, cuse I mean Talos isn't tiber septim, he is more so 3 people in an overcoat

Hey y'all would ya say that Drewmora is a good lore channel?
I enjoy most/any TES lore channel, but I haven't experienced a TES essay in a while, Drewmora's included.

Unsure what the more experienced members would say about this.

not gonna lies, I dont really like this.
Princes having powers beyond the Aedras just feel off, like Namira
She’s a star orphan. First child of Magnus. She only became a prince much like Meridia (her sister). All of the star orphans (save for Meridia) are Aurbis tier. Namira makes sense given she’s literally Sithis 2.0 and not just a Daedra.

Speaking of, we really should just give Magnus an outright High 1-A rating or at least 1-A+. He’s surely above his daughters who can either destroy the Aurbis, exist omnipresent within the Aurbis, or keep the infinite wheels within wheels spinning with their will alone.

We don't absorb his soul, this much is true. However as told by us by other dragons such as Parthurnaxx (who is alduins brother and connected to the flow of time) we indeed did destroy alduin, this is also seen by the events of landfall on the 5E.

As far as i can tell (i could be wrong)
Literally everyone in skyrim who knows who alduin is starts talking about how those who try to save more time for the world may end up doing the opposite.

Alduin was fully trying to eat the world at his 2nd fight, he was angry he got beat in the first one, and it was foreshadowed before.

So hes definitely trying to eat it at one point in the game

Also but him being reset is simply Arngeirs theory (atleast from in the game, maybe some other source says otherwise)

(Sorry if im not making a whole lot of sense i woke up a min ago if ik terribly wrong just ignore me)

So I was doing some scrolling and found that Coldharbour and even Apocrypha have layers within their them, likely infinite. 1-A+ Daedra? Also I’ll update the part with apocrypha later. But anyways, it seems that even individual realms can follow the whole “worlds within worlds” pattern. Apocrypha for instance, has libraries within libraries with each library being infinite. And each book containing a realm library.
I mean I am pretty sure that its stated that the black books contain infinite or near infinite knowledge (not sure which haven't played skyrim in a bit and haven't really been keeping up with the lore for a while too) and considering that they take us to disconnected parts of apocrypha we could argue that since each book contains infinite or near infinite knowledge they take us to sub realms of apocrypha and we know there are like 10 or so of those books as is.

I'm bored and kind of want to make profiles for the random sub-bosses you find in Skyrim's dungeons, who would be a simple addition to make first? I remember making a profile for Jyrik Gauldurson awhile back but it seems to be deleted now or something.

Well... How about Karstaag?

All of the profiles for the “extras” got nuked a while ago. No more jills, ESO villains, or companions. Funny enough, the only profile that’s been “updated” in the most recent format for TES standards is Talos. I don’t know who or why, but it happened lol.

Seriously? Why only Talos?
