In a verse, the verse looks a certain way; it has an artistic visual "style," so to speak.
That, for us, is recognizable, I mean, let's say it's like how we see things at work: a cartoon looks like a cartoon, a polygonal video game looks like a polygonal video game, the clay world looks like a clay world and etc.
but then, what if there is a verse where something happens (either a character/object/artefact/event) can cause the "style" to change and it makes it so, the cartoon looks like real life, the polygons look more complex and detailed, or everything looks more downgraded, to the point that the character even comment about how the "style" looks different and completely off from the rest of things.
It is hard to explain but i guess you can get the idea at minimum
