Ruckerverse name change to Transreal

On the official website, this series of books is always referred to as "Transreal," not "Transrealist" or "Ruckerverse." This is because the author has created his own concept, which he has named "Transrealism." "Transrealism is a literary style that combines the techniques of incorporating fantastical elements used in science fiction with the techniques of describing immediate impressions from naturalistic realism. By combining the strengths of these two approaches, it is largely a reaction to their perceived weaknesses. Transrealism counteracts the escapism and detachment from reality that is inherent in science fiction, and it provides a deeper exploration of characters through autobiographical elements and the modeling of situations that are familiar to the author. It addresses the theme of fatigue and the boundaries of realism, using fantastical elements to create new metaphors that promote psychological change and to convey the author's perception of a higher reality that encompasses life." And, the person who engages in Transrealism is known as a Transrealist. So it just misunderstanding. Ruckerverse is also a fan-made name. Therefore, I request that the name of the work be changed to "Transreal" on the wiki.

well, as you said, it’s a genre/style that Rudy invented, but not all his works are transrealist. I could see an argument if the non transrealist books aren’t connected to the transrealist ones, and the transrealist ones forming their own bubble. But again, transrealism isnt restricted to what Rudy writes. It’s invented by him, and authors can write their own fiction in that genre. So the question is, should we really make a “genre” the name of this verse, this sounds weird.

“Ruckerverse” is fanmade but it’s just the best we got really afaik

Transreal as the name of the verse sounds cool as **** though ngl

You may not have understood what I meant. I wrote about the genre because some people call the book series "Transrealism" or "Transrealist," which is incorrect. I'm not trying to come up with a new book title based on the genre, but the book series is literally called "Transreal" or "Transreal Books." This is on the official website: http://www.transrealbooks.com/#transrealbooks

“Transreal Books is a publisher with print and ebook titles”
This is a rather strange situation, but there is no such publisher as Transreal Books. Rudy Rucker publishes his books in Virgin Books and Ace Books. You won't find the name "Transreal Books" anywhere except in reference to the books by Rudy Rucker. I think, based on the context, for some reason Rudy Rucker took the pseudonym "Transreal Books" (correct me if I'm wrong). Plus, he has a "Transreal Trilogy" in website https://www.rudyrucker.com/transrealtrilogy/sample/transrealtrilogy.xhtml so it adds points to renaming verse to Transreal.
