Does hurting a entity from the inside count has scaling?

There is this one big entity that looks like a giant version of squid but with one thousand mouths and infinite stomachs (this could be a exaggeration) who was able to create a storm that covered the entire planet earth (and in the verse, the energy qualifies for UES and every technique uses this energy specifically)and one character needs to defeat this entity by sealing them in another dimension, but before that, the character was able to hurt this creature by making them shallow their attack, which caused their insides to glow and the entity clearly growled in pain because of this...
but does this count has scaling?

Na, just dura negation imo (unless they did something like destroying a huge chunk of the entity from the inside

The attack in question does not have that property (that I could know), it is just a super strong attack with fire on it.

I'm pretty sure damaging organs was changed to just being "limited dura neg" simply due to how our organs work IRL with regards to how every punch would obliterate our organs if they weren't at the very least as tough as the body on the outside (Unless stated otherwise in the fiction of course that organs are particularly vulnerable), so worst case scenario, you would downscale from tearing someone apart from the inside out.

Realistically, internal organs of say, a Tier 5 character, being completely defenseless against any targeted attack was pretty absurd given that Tier 5 strikes create shockwaves which would liquefy their organs if that was the case. Even in real life that happens with explosives and can conceivably happen with whale calls.

It'd be different if the character's durability comes from armour though, like Tony Stark for example.

Reasonable. Well, if we're talking about tier 5 entites with massive bodies, wouldn't the outside shell be, like, massively superior to the inside organs? In that scenario destroying them from inside will warrant dura neg in one way or form.

Though will that still be limited dura neg even in those scenarios (that don't exactly work irl)?

Once we're talking about massive size, we then have to start talking about whether damaging a small part of them counts as scaling to anything about them anyway.
