No? Ruby is still 7-C in AP and Durability without her aura, she wont be oneshot just because its gone, and this is Post-Haven, where exhaustion after aura depletion is no longer a thingGoing over the topic of Aura, the fact that Ruby is reliant on it for both her defense and her superhuman abilities means that if Ruby is hit by someone with enough power, she'll lose her powers and become squishy enough to be one shot. Given that the person she's fighting has nearly 1.5x the AP advantage, all it would take is a few clean hits for Ruby's Aura to become undone and become vulnerable to attack. Sure, there are technically items that can restore Aura, but aside from the fact that they seem dubious to canon, its generally shown that Aura can't be immediately restored after its been fully depleted. Additionally, the loss of Aura in the world of RWBY results in the user becoming exhausted; generally the user is left struggling to move one their aura is tapped out, so the same would apply to Ruby here.
Sonic does not have the physical strength required t be able to disarm RubyFinally, the biggest issue for Ruby is that she's mostly reliant on her scythe to do damage, take that away or destroy it and she basically becomes helpless in melee combat. Given that Sonic has fought foes and robots before with obvious weaknesses, he would try and prioritise taking away the scythe, resulting in ruby losing access to her weapon and most of her hax, sans the ones from her semblance. He could totally do it to from a distance thanks to the Enerbeam, meaning he doesn't need be up close to target her weapon.
I gonna use FRAable as a adjective for now on.What is even the FRAable argument for sonic...?
1. Ruby's semblance has never taken any serious toll on her body in any capacity during any point in the series. I don't think she will struggle using it even after she's worn outWell since the verdict is still up for grabs, and since I like being a contrarian, I would like to say that I think Sonic can win this.
First of all both characters are capable of amping their speed with their equipment/powers, with Ruby amping her speed with her semblance while sonic can amp his speed with the Ultrasonic Speed Amplifier. However, the difference between the two is that Ruby's powers are limited by Aura; the more it is used, the less Aura she has. In the long run, Sonic can just amp up his speed more often and more concistently than Ruby can.

So yeah, I think Sonic wins this.
