Tamamo Speed Upgrade

The reason I asked if it was a hyperbole was that "[insert whatever here] moving so fast it breaks the sound barrier" is a common hyperbole like how "being swifter than an eagle" or "being as fast as lightning" are both common hyperboles. But if people see this as legitimate then I'm perfectly fine with it.

Nowhere in the picture do they break the sound barrier. It just says they did but all that's shown is strong wind. If they showed a vapor cone, then it would have shown them break the sound barrier.

I'm still fine with it if everyone else is, but "being fast enough to break the sound barrier" is an even more common hyperbole than "being faster than a speeding bullet" or "being swifter than [insert animal here]".

Keeweed has a point. If these are supernatural manga characters, it doesn't seem very farfetched if they simply break the speed of sound though.

I don't find them being faster than sound far fetched. I've just seen multiple verses with similar statements be rejected before, so is there similar feats of them being extremely fast other than this. Or at least is the person saying they broke the sound barrier a truly reliable source of information?

Which gives me less of a reason to believe it since that's in line with most hyperbolic statements like this. And it being a toon force filled manga makes it even worse as it makes it more likely to be a non serious joke than a legit feat. So I'll ask again, is there other feats of similar speed or is there a good reason to trust this narration? Also is there any reason this isn't an outlier on top of being a hyperbole.
