Supreme Kai Shin CRT.

How about Buu punching him, then?
Didn't Buu basically 2-shot Shin with ease? A clap on the head to stun/incapacitate him and a punch to the head to knock Shin to the ground. Done whilst Buu was fighting pretty casually.

I wouldn't say Shin significantly scales off of that.

Yeah, but he got back up from the punch, flew back at Buu, and launched an attack of his own, which, despite not hurting Buu, pushed the Majin back a bit.

Yeah. Shin absolutely doesn't scale to Buu. Not even in the slightest. Buu was toying with him the entire time and was never serious in that fight.

He only became serious once Majin Vegeta angered him

No? Supreme Kai was terrified of Babidi's minions, including Pui-Pui, but wasn't shown to be scared particularly from other people, such as the Z Fighters
That's cuz they're on the same side. The Majin army also had a terrifying reputation, with Babidi claiming Pui Pui could beat all 3 Saiyans at once.

Still, Shin was terrified of even Pui-Pui despite his strength, more than implying Shin is weaker. Besides, Shin knows how strong they are so if they wouldn't be stronger than him, he wouldn't have feared them even when Dabura wasn't around

He was also scared of Babidi, despite having killed his pops.

It's mostly because Babidi: 1) Have magic, and can use them against Shin, and 2) Is pretty much always protected by Dabura, so Shin can't really touch him, especially when Dabura is literally Babidi's puppet
I mean, at that point, maybe he's only scared of Yakon because of hax. And Pui Pui might just be a mystery to him.

Yakon have no hax aside from being able to absorb light, which is whatever.
Also, without proof, all of that is just headcanon. And considering Shin knew about them for probably a very long time, it's very likely he's well aware of everyone there

Shin cannot be weaker than pui pui, as pui pui os weaker than base Saiyans in buu arc who were weaker than Frieza as stated in BoG. He was just worried about everything for some reason.

On the other hand, while piccolo revered him, we know piccolo couldn't sense his ki as he had god ki, so statements of his strength coming from Piccolo wouldn't be usable, although I remember a guidebook saying that Shin's power dwarved piccolo's or so.

This is utter bullshit. Beerus' statement about Goku being unable to beat freeza in base is demonstrably false.

Is there evidence of that? I mean, in his base form.
Yes. Freeza <<<<<<<<<<<<< buu saga piccolo <<< shin < pui pui < yakon < buu saga base goku.
If you don't like that, vegeta states that he can beat the budokai without SSJ even if piccolo is participating.
Yah don't like that? Then beerus' statement is still wrong because Goku is above PU Gohan in battle of gods which puts his base form above base gotenks who is above Super perfect cell.

Ah, because of Piccolo, right.

To be fair, Shin's a coward, and Vegeta’s egotistical. They're not necessarily reliable narrators.
Shin was not a coward when he was facing piccolo was he?
Vegeta was not wrong was he?
And piccolo is neither a coward nor egotistical, yet you're gonna say he was bullshitting about his own power level?

Vegeta is well aware of Piccolo's powers though, and while it is true that he sometimes overestimate himself, these were mostly when he couldn't sense the enemy (such as against A18. Vegeta however knew he'll lose against Frieza and the Ginyus)
