I wasn't saying it for no reason. I think the argument that Superman' s vulnerability to magic gives Link an advantage. I also agree with the argument that Link has appropriate means to resist Superman's elemental attacks.

Link pretty much already had time stopped by the time he did put on the Fierce Deity Mask; as in he's never worn it in a scenario where time isn't stopped. Not sure if that counts as him leading with it while having the mask on since that was his base form who already did it technically speaking.

I think he can slow down time. Which I don't think Superman would be able to resist.

vsbattles overestimates video game characters a lot via exaggerating game mechanics. Fierce Deity Link is street tier, Superman is vastly above him in every physical stat except speed. His magic is also weak sword beams. Superman wins via punching, freeze breath, heat vision or creating a vortex and suffocating him.
