Super Vegito > BoG SSJ God Goku

Not sure if this is really content revision, however I want to know how we can reconcile Base Fusions > SSJG. Since we know that BoG pre-SSJG Goku isn't much stronger than his Buu saga counterpart, wouldn't that mean that Super Vegito from Z is stronger than BoG SSG Goku. Twice it's been shown that Fusion is superior to God forms.

The whole purpose of inroducing fusion was to create an ultimate warrior who is stronger than both the fusees at their max.

In DBZ, Base Vegito > SSJ3 Goku + SSJ2 Vegeta

In DBS Base Vegito/Gogeta > SSB Goku + SSB Vegeta

No, Goku explicitly said Fusion wouldnt be able to defeat Beerus. Then God allowed him to do so, where he then absorbed god form into his base form which also amped Fusion.

Sort of like this:

Fusion = (Fusee 1 + Fusee 2)^3

God form = Base Form + Ungodlyquinpillion number

Right now God form is flat out a higher number than Fusion, but once its a base form number then the number of fusion will also increase surpassing that of God form.

I believe it should be in QnA board, not content revision.

The whole SSG > Fusion doesn't work because the fusion has no fixed power up in the first place. The whole purpose of fusion is to create a warrior stronger than both fuses at their max, hence why Gogeta is stronger than SSB when in BoG Vegito was weaker than SSG.

Fusion base is whatever the fuses max power is currently

Elaboration on my above thingie:

1 Number = 1 Goku Power Level

Pre-God Fusion: (1 + 1)^3 = 8

SSG: 1 x 2000 = 2000

Post-God Fusion: (2000 + 2000)^3 = 64000000000

Post-God SSG: 2000 x 2000 = 4000000

Even though God was initially stronger than fusion previously, it becoming the base form's power literally exponentially increases it's own power while the same previous God form offers less in comparison.

As said above Goku flat out stated that Fusion at the time wouldn't be able to touch Beerus. SSG allowed him to. That's why

BoG SSG Goku > Pre SSG Vegito and Hypothetically Gogeta. By miles.

Fusion has no fixed power up, next time Goku and Vegeta fuse Gogeta/Vegito will be stronger than UI Goku at base!

Except none of that is stated anywhere. Where did you arrive at the conclusion that Base Fusions will always be stronger than their fusee's strongest transformation? All we know is that their power is added together and then multiplied by some arbitrary number as stated by Vados. As far as I'm concerned it's just a theory.

This has been the case for literally every fusion in the series that happened so far.

Base Gotekns > SSJ Trunks

Base Vegito > SSJ3 Goku

Base Kefla > LSS2 Kale

Base Gogeta > SSB Goku.

Again, the whole lore of fusion is to create a being who is superior to both individual fusees combined. Characters fuse to form a warrior that can defeat the villain which they can't defeat together. That's also stated in the manga and supported by almost all the instances where fusion has been used.

What Vados said translates to:

Fusion(base) = (Full power of Fusee 1 + Full power of Fusee2) x tens of times

This does not prove your case. All it does it prove that fusion gives a massive power up, but no statements in the series lead to the conclusion that Base Fusions will always be stronger than the fusee's strongest transformation.

Goku says the same thing when he first introduced the fusion and till now, every instance proves him right.

By that logic Z era Vegito stomps Post-ToP SSB Goku. Sure it's just a theory but this still holds up to this day.

It doesn't. Fusion is as strong as the plot wants it to be, and in this case, stronger than the protagonist's individual strongest form. Refer to my math example above. Although at one point in the story, Fusion may be weaker, it will always exceed one's normal transformations via virtue of plot.

Ultimate Gohan was said to be able to easily defeat Buu, but when he failed, they attempted Fusion. And Old Kai said that, like Ultimate Gohan, they wouldn't need to go Super Saiyan as it will just drain their stamina without much benefit. They have an overwhelming advantage anyways.

Please don't quote large walls of texts.

I mean, yes it was not a "wall". But since you all quoted big blocks repeatedly, it was starting to look very ugly and difficult to read and navigate.

The question has been answered so I'll close it.
