The blast was fired from Earth's orbit onto New York City. We're going to use low and mid-Earth orbit to find its speed. It took roughly 12 seconds for it to start affecting the city, so we'll use that as our time frame.

Low Earth Orbit: 2,000 kilometers (1,200 mi)

Mid Earth Orbit: 20,200 kilometres (12,552 mi)

Low Earth Orbit

First, we'll find the mph of the blast. To do that, we divide by the time frame.

1,200 / 12 = 120 miles

Now, we multiply by 60 twice.

120 * 60 * 60 = 432,000 MPH

Converting MPH to m/s.

193,121.28 m/s

Divide by 343 to find its Mach speed.

193121.28 / 343 = 563.035802 times the speed of sound

MHS

Mid Earth Orbit

12,552 / 12 = 1046

1046 *60 * 60 = 3,765,600

Convert to m/s

1,683,373.824

1,683,373.824 / 343 = 4,907.7954 times the speed of sound

MHS+

Or 0.5% the Speed of Light

Pretty Sure it is, but I won't argue it for my own sake.

Street Fighter should still get upgraded from this calculation.

It's happened like this before with the Akuma calculation.
